Your photos are great !!!! Dear Chris
Don't worry camping was never going to be your thing and I think you like me will get more out of checking out hotel rooms than setting up tents! Your photos of the hot air balloons and country side are spectacular, you look well and I can see you are having a great time. Only one thing I thought I'd mention as you continue your journey, you know you can always post me home some fine pottery........ if you need money Ryan and I will find a way to send a MT103 to you! Seriously though if you see something that is beautiful and a bargain buy it and ship it.

i'm so proud of you Hey Chris,
I am so proud of you ... and am loving hearing your blogs!! do me a favour!! If you get a chance take a photo of Mount Ararat ... fact for you - what turkey is now is what Armenia used to be so Mount Ararat was ours .. I'd love a photo if you could grab one!
Love Clara
Day 2 and you are in a room............ Dearest Chris
I had higher hopes for you I really did, my fingers and toes were crossed. I envisaged you as a seasoned camper engaged in who can put up the tent fastest competitions and teaching others how to get the sleeping bag in the cover very fast tricks - just like putting together a Pickfords box in 20 seconds. Lets have a small wager I will buy you a cocktail of choice even 2.......... if can you do 15 days straight in a tent????
Love and kisses JB
Oh I so wanted to see you with a shovel digging your own toilet Dearest Chris I am so impressed and I so wanted to see you with a shovel digging your own toilet.
I would have also liked see your face when you first surveyed your camping ground on Day 1 (you will become accustomed as time passes and be less fun to watch) and to watch you pitch your tent.
There are just so many moments in your story that make me smile and make me hope you have taken some videos so you can show me when you come home. You go girl!
Please smile... Although I love your photos.. it would do you good to smile. You are on a round the world trip holiday whilst some of us are at work typing this message to you!!! Anyway, I love your travel blogs... can I say it again... I LOVE YOU TRAVEL BLOGS. It makes me feel I am there with you...sort of. Anthony is also waiting for the next update and wondered why he only got the Bohol section last night when you are already in Turkey.. Love lots. M
Thanks for the feedback!! Hey Johnny - thanks very much for your feedback. It makes it all the more worthwhile when someone has read my blog....Even if they are sometimes the ramblings of a somewhat insane mind...Christine

2008 has been a year of personal discovery and has given me the chance to re-write my story.
Thus my story begins!!...To set the scene I am in my mid 30’s and come from Sydney, Australia. I am embarking on a year long career break to explore the world and see how much mischief I can get up to. I have since sold the house and all my worldly possessions; converted my frequent flyer miles to a RTW ticket and packed my bags
