You really can see the smoke
I wonder how I would have been with my asthma. How far away are the fires? They are not as much on the news anymore. The smoky atmosphere is really apparent in some of your photos. Looking forward to seeing you next Monday night around supper time. Let's go out...maybe to that abbey-like place we went to last time? My treat!

I miss putting them there Ton but they will come. We’re so busy doing things and seeing things that that part is delayed. It involves transferring photos from the Nikon to my iPhone and that’s a very tedious process.

Ferdy’s doing a fantastic job on this blog. I also brought in a bottle of Kakula on the cruise ship. While Ferdy was talking to Catriona I got to pour the first bottle of champagne on the champagne glass tree. We were so excited to meet our Australian friends and travel companions whom we hadn’t seen since last november when we were in Australia. I have known Cathy and Joy for 35 years and we planned the cruise together.
