WOW! A very safe journey home!! I'm sure every moment and memory will forever be stored in your mind and heart - how fortunate are we, your friends and family, to have lived vicariously through your around the world experience! I imagine the re-entry to the blessed USA will take a while to adapt to but it'll be good to have you "home". Blessings to you both!! =)
Rhino beetle ...ok, that rhino beetle - yuck!! My mind is still completely blown away by your amazing life journey - simply remarkable!! It's so wonderful that it's documented and shared - a real treat for your friends and family!!
Crossing the railway tracks Hello Nazeer.
Actually, this was a very small station, and there was no other way to cross the tracks. We had never done this before, and would have preferred not to, but at this small station there was no overhead walkway like at the bigger ones. We were very careful.
Crossing the Railway Tracks! be careful!!!! Dear Friends,
Thanks for visiting my Kerala. Hav seen ur pic crossing a railway track. Please be noted that its very very risky and against law. Please do not do it again in your next trip.
Thanks for visiting kerala and welcome for the next time!

I love Granada too! Erin, Jason, I loved reading your blog - I lived near Valencia for a year before moving to Córdoba - the province West of Granada above Málaga .. and I adore Granada city ... !
Where we live now we are an hour from Córdoba, Málaga and Granada cities so we can get to any of them really easily - although I must say I like to come home to the spectacular beauty of the olive groves here in the Sierra Subbética ...
I love it so much I opened my very own "Home from Home" Guest House - check it out if you want to : http://www.casa-la-celada.com
I hope you have many more happy adventures in Spain and that one day you may even discover the hidden treasures of our province.
Best wishes,
Amanda
Glad you liked Lyon I'm glad you liked Lyon. I spent my junior year of college there -- rented a room in old Lyon a few blocks away from the Opera House and attended University in the old buildings next to the river. I loved the red roofs, the small streets and the fact that it was smaller than Paris. Thanks for all your great photos and the history lessons in your wonderfully written comments.
Very interesting blog...I loved Cinque Terre, and I adore Florence (one of the most beautiful places i've ever been) and Venice, Verona, even Bologna are gorgeous - but I do see some of what you're saying - and lived there - albeit for a week ;) sounds like you guys are having a real adventure! stay safe.

Forget
Forget Casablanca and Tangier... Just go to Marrakech, and if possible go to the desert of Sahara.
