beautifully written Emma! I've heard bits and pieces of your recent adventures from your mama but have longed to to talk to you about it all! I heard you had a blog and looked it you up on Google just to see what i'd find. I can't believe this crazy world; there you were! Reading your writing brings smiles and tears, your blog is honest and engaging. Who would have thought that little girls like us, who grew up playing with trolls in the woods, would be traveling the world with aspirations to make positive changes like what you're part of right now. I too long to travel to Africa, maybe someday we'll be there together.
I'm glad to be able to read about your adventures Emma, you're an amazing person! My email address is srpirate@gmail.com. I know you're busy but here's my address just so you have it. Keep up the good work!!
Love, Grace (and Judy)
Coming to Uganda too Hi Emma
I am from Scotland but have lived in San Diego, CA for about 5 years now. I leave here next month to spend a month back home before heading to Africa to volunteer for 10 months. I'm going to Tanzania for the first 3 but then am coming to Uganda. Thanks so much for your writing. It's really great for me to be able to read it right now. Travel safe,
Joanna
Emma,
I have been greatly enjoying your blogs from your various travels. I'm impressed with your writing and that you've decided to take action in a world where most people sit on the sideline.

Is That Hanna McIlvaine in your job site pic Hanna has said she will stay friends with members of her group for life. Were you in her group? No matter, we will get a chance to meet at the Rites of Passage Ceremony in February.
best regards,
Phelps McIlvaine
Under the Sea I couldn't agree more about scuba diving. Everything you say is true and trying to explain it to someone who has never done it is a very difficult thing. "For those who don't understand, no explanation is enough. For those who do, no explanation is needed."
Recommend a dive shop on Roatan? I was certified in Utila but thinking of going to Roatan for Christmas. Leave me a comment or message on my blog (Swillett) or e-mail me at jazzy_101@hotmail.com

Love reading your stories Hey Emma, I am enjoying your experience vicariously. Keep up the work on your language skills and conjugating those verbs. I miss Grandma, but we could not have asked for better other than her not having gotten that cancer. Take care.
It feels good I am extremely happy whenever i recieve a blog from you emma. It reminds me of nicaragua, which is an amazing memory. I wish I stuch with my decision of going on this trip! I would feel like I am in the right place. I hope that you keep up the excitement and keep your feelings going. I cannot wait to hear about your next amazing experience! I miss you Emma! -S2
HI EMMA I love getting your blogs..its an amazing world where we have the chance to share your experiences. I am so thankful you were able to make it home in time to see and spend the time you could with grandma. I agree there could NOT be a more perfect way to die, than to be all there to share with her that departure out of this world. I am sure she is looking down on us now, and will protect us as best as possible. Grandpa is quite sad, as would be expected, but we are all doing are best to make it the best possible. We are taking turns spending the night.
I am forwarding your blogs to Nora. Don't know if you have been in touch.
Work hard and be safe. Treaasure your experiences as there is no better education.
LOVE YOU Nancy

peasant, coach, co-director, teacher,... Hi Emma - I am such a tehno-loser and assume that this will not work. Great to hear of your travels; let me know if you read this - I'd be shocked. Take care - Ron
tough travel We are at faculty meeting and people asked about you and your blog, so I checked it out and found about about your suffering in Sonoma. Yes, wine country can be rough and the hot tubs up there arent always at just the right temperature. We all empathize with your plight. Glad to hear you are enjoying your adventures.
Best from all at Compass,
Rick
