Arriving in Rome Hi auntie. Sorry to hear you are sick. Glad you could still make your legendary sausage rolls. I talk about how awesome they are every Christmas. We're waiting to disembark for Rome. I've been in the wars. I fell over twice on the 23rd in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. That was going into a church and out of another one. I'm coming good now. Peter is as usual larger than life. Love to you both sandra. X

Love Auntie Sandra & Uncle Carmen, you are so very sweet.
Off to Greece Hi auntie. Peter is feeling a lot better this evening. It was either the cough medicine or the whisky or both. It was a brilliant day in Genoa. Cool enough for a jacket but still sunny. Poor you guys with the rain. Have you made your sausage rolls yet? Love sandra xx
You know Auntie Peg lived in Tenerife until just after Uncle Harold passed away. His remains are entombed in a graveyard wall with a headstone at the lower part of the city near the ocean.

visit them there.
Vacation Sandra So very glad you are feeling a lot better, I'm sure that you will both have a great time on the cruise,
Thanks for the update on your trip, Wow could imagine what you felt like at the airport. Couldn't help but laugh at just the thoughts of it.
I see that you like the same wine as your aunt.
Lots of love Auntie Sandra & Carmen
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree... My auntie has great taste especially in wine! We're in Reykjavik now. Ducked into a pub to get out of the rain. Off to see the Northern Lights tonight hopefully? xx Sandra
Envy What a great trip. I might get Bronnie there yet. The school I worked at in Geelong was owned by a man from Gotemba and that was the name of one of the houses. We had a Gotemba teacher (Shigeo) stay with us when he accompanied a student group to Australia in 2006. See, I can spin out a story too.
Loved all your blogs.
Hi Stuart
It's a wonderful place and there is so much to see and do. Amazing Gotemba connection. It's a small place by Japanese standards but the closeness to Fuji is quite something.
love Sandy
Yes, we both have the family story telling genes
