Flem Snopes Doug, I'm really looking forward to reading this; however, I'm afraid that it's going to create a lot of envy, but like Awesome below, I can live vicarously.
Ohhh Home Sweet Home!! Wow your pics are fantastic Doug!! you guys really did NZ right!!! Great Photography skills too I might add!!
These pics have now convinced my Californian boyfriend that the 20 hour plane ride will be worth it!!!
All the best,
Keeley
Holusky My husband and I just returned home after 11 days in Eastern Europe. A trip to Bratislava was wonderful, and the halusky was amazing. I could eat some now, but have no idea how to make it. Do you have a recipe? ...can't wait to go back. Loved your pictures!
I'm ready to.... pack my bags & hit the road! Your travelblog has been absolutely FANTASTIC. My husband has always wanted to go to Austrailia..but I'm opting for Tanzania & New Zealand. I'm so glad you went & shared your experiences. Take care & be safe...Sherry
WOW WOW and WOW OK, I'm going to NZ. Anyone else joining me? Jeez the pics are incredible and I'm sure they don't do it justice compared to being there!!! And now I'm hungry too...
Awww.. That sounds like the kind of adventure I need. Hopping in the car and hitting all the small towns and meeting the locals. As usual everything looks beautiful. I especially love the Tasman Arch and Port Arthur is a must go place for me. Looks like a great time as per usual.
Tasmania Sounds like a great place to visit with such a wide variety of flora, fauna and food. Loved the pictures of the flowers. Such vibrant colors. Just one question....... Did you eat the entire seafood piggy platter in one sitting???? Oink, oink!! Too bad you couldn't find an all-inclusive resort there.
Pretty Bird, Pretty Bird Hey guys, the pictures are so beautiful. When you hit Australia I started doing a bit of research and saw some pics online of the 12 Apostles. That is so great that you made it there, and for sunset no less. I was also listening to a song the other day that mentioned Flinders Street Station. Really cool to actually have a picture of it. The scenery looks so cool and the diversity is always good. I'm adding it to my list!
Hope you enjoy Tasmania, can't wait to read about it. Sounds pretty adventurous!
City Schmitty - Who's there to see that anyway? Jeez, Australia just keeps getting prettier and prettier. All but the cities that is... just as we'll as then you wouldn't be able to fit it all in!! The sites just seem endless... and Gorgeous! Hey, who the heck is Ned Kelly anyway???
Simply beautiful. I love all the underwater pictures. The colors are so rich in all the plant life as well. Looks like the place has quite the tropical element to it. And you've met some true Aboriginals and as odd as it was it had to be a great glimpse into another life. The waterfalls look breathtaking and the images depicted in the glass are very cool. Adding another place to my list of where to get to.
I also got the postcard from Bangkok, that was very cool, thanks so much! Love the updates, keep them coming.
Hello mates! Great photos! I especially like the underwater ones and stained glass. Like you said, the colors are very vibrant. Sounds like things are going well -- except for the sunburn. Thanks for keeping us updated. Too bad you only have a month left....
Sydney looks beautiful. The beaches and coastline are something I have to check out. And that looks like one heck of a bridge climb. I'm also glad to read you didn't order Foster's beer, I hear they have to dust a can off if folks order that. I'll have to get a bigger review of Victoria Bitter when you get back. Looking forward to seeing more pictures and tales from the outback and of course New Zealand. Have fun snorkling!
You are having too much fun! You look like you are having the time of your life! I LOVE the blogs! When will you be back? I am off to Sweden for Thanksgiving. Would love to hear about your travels first hand, but these blogs have been an incredible way for your to document your trip! See ya' when you get back! Have fun and safe home!
Sydney Looks absolutely wonderful. Definitely a place I'd like to visit. Congratulations on the bridge climb "St. Mary." Wondering why Doug didn't do the climb... Oh yeah, he was out eating, drinking and shopping! Can't wait to see and hear more about your adventures.
Awesome! Mary's view from the bridge looks spectacular! Thanks for the tales from down under. I look forward to hearing you wine review on you way back thru. Mary: Did you catch any fish?
Bangkok looks very cool. I've heard Thailand has some of the best beaches, did you make any stops? Looking forward to seeing pictures of the outback! Do I have to repeat, I'm so jealous!
The Jenga Tower Why is Doug squinting at the Jenga Tower? Is he intently concentrating? Is he like the driver trying to turn the three traffic lines back into the one they really are?
What a fantastic trip!
Bangkok Great to hear from you Saturday, Mary! Sounds like quite a place to visit -- except for the pollution. Can't wait to hear about Doug's diving experience(s) down under. Hopefully no problems with running out of air!
