Can't believe you described Dom as a mountain goat - without the horns! Not bad huh - you've got your personal chef cooking up 3 meals a day for you! What more can a person ask for??
What have i told you about handing out lollies to children! You omitted to include a description of your costume.....i know you wouldn't miss an opportunity to dress up!
Your holiday sounds amazing. I love how your meeting all these weird and wonderful friends along the way - you best be asking them for there facebooks so you can keep in touch once your back home.
p.s hurry and and getting cracking with uploading your photos with the blogs.
what about a name? I was reading your blog and as well written as it is, I had to go back for two things, neither of which I found. One, with such a generous hotel owner, are oyu not allowed to give him a bit of advertisement by mentioning the name of the hotel? Maybe not as other folks might expect the same type of invitations. Whic leads me to the sesond pondering: Was it just by luck you met the hotel owner, becuase as I travel, I usually get a part time desk clerk or at most a tired manager running the front of the house.
Personally, I wouldn't know how to conduct myself in such surroundings as you describe and I'd like to think you tipped the servers and chaufer grandly.
underdressed? please tell me you wore your braces on this big night out!!
i'll never forget that wonderful night at the Kardinya Tavern, no one can every accuse you of being underdressed!
all this eating and drinking sounds great.....any signs of 'Quito Belly'? (aka Bali Belly)

What exactly is that meat you are eating?! Cattle brains is pretty gross. I got caught out in Bolivia with what looked like normal beef skewers being sold from stalls around one of the parks in Sucre. They were particularly delicious and I did consider the possibility that I had been eating some other type of meat such as alpaca, and I was prepared for that. But my Bolivian friends soon told me that actually I had been eating cow hearts! Ew! Anyway, I hope you don't mind but I have posted a link to your blog on my Facebook Page "When I went travelling to South America". Happy travels!
Cheers, Linda
Hava a nice time Buenos Aires is such an amazing city, I went there during the summer season and it was unbelievable. I went with 3 friends of mine, and it was awesome! Party all the time, a great weather, beautiful girls everywhere, and many things to do. We stayed in a hostel near to the San Telmo neighborhood, so we could go walking when we wanted. The public transportation is perfect, 24 hrs service, so the city never sleeps, the Disco opens at 2am so the party goes until the morning. We took a Pub Crawl with bsas4u, it was great because we meet to crawl the best pubs of the area and then we end the party at one of the best dance clubs of San Telmo. Finally I can tell that Buenos Aires is a really nice experience for people of all ages, due to the amount of activities there for all.
I'm impressed! You're trying new things! I bet if you were told it was cold tea you would have said, 'No thanks, I don't like tea'
What am I to expect when you get back........"Hey Matt, I've discovered this awesome beverage called coffee, you have to try it!"
I'm impressed with the handgliding story, that takes courage.........although it shouldn't be a new sensation for you to have sore hands and arms.....how many times have you been told that you hang on too tightly!
When I was in Bali I went on the new waterslide called 'Climax'. Essentially you stand in a tube and the floor gets ripped out from under you and you drop straight down for about 30 metres before the slide levels out and you come to an abrupt stop....unbelievably fast and i did think about chickening out, but the kids were below watching so i couldn't!
Watch out for Rapa's and don't go into any abandonded temples you find in the rainforrest....at least without a guide!

Wicked That sounds awesome!
I am drooling everytime food is mentioned!
How long are you in BA for before you move on?
Slash have you adjusted your body clocks yet?
Young latina hotties? Nice to hear u made it safely....but we must clarify one point, any 40 year old hostess is 'young' compared to you my elderly friend!
There's nothing like breaking bread on a plane with your own personal padre. I'll make inquiries about getting you a portable communion kit for Christmas.
We just arrived home from Broome. Everything looking very good. Caught up with JK and MF and everything indicates we will be moving over there before the end of the year. I have one week of holidays left and I plan to spend much of it on the couch in front of the television watching Bali DVD's. Sonia has other plans for me but it will take a lot to get me off the couch!
I'll talk to u soon. Remember, don't accept lifts from stangers and don't agree to deliver any mystery packages for people you don't know!
