We've spent the past few days in Hoi An, which is one of the few towns whose architecture was relatively untouched by the war. There is a beautiful beach about 4km out of town so we've been renting bikes to get around which helps with the heat. Even if there is no wind, at least we can make our own. I took a tour up to some ruins at My Son which were nice but the highlight was wading in the creek nearby and getting a great picture (while wading) of 2 Vietnamese guards, 2 tourists with rice-picker hats, and an old guy walking around with his motorcycle helmet all on the bridge at the same time.
