Thank you for your info We are going to Saigon on Friday for a week. Thank you for your great info. I'll check out the shopping places you recommended.
sorry! about the late response i've let this blog go inactive so i didn't see this just now.you have to use vietnamese currency for almost all transactions. only the most touristy places accept US dollars but be aware that those types of places price a premium on that convenience. you have more negotiation on purchasing power by sticking with the local currency
shopping in vietnam Hi there! I'll be visiting vietnam soon, and your blog is of a really great help! btw, should i use USD or Vietnam Dong there ? which is more convenient? cause i figured that they'd return me change in dong even if i pay with USD right ?
Hay lam! Hi there!
I just click on your writing by accident which was actually very cool. I am glad that you had a chance to visit Vietnam. I totally understand that it was a shocked for you as your first time in VIetna. But if you stay here longer, try to get to know more Vietnamese people then you will have a complete idea of Vietnam.
Anyway, My name is Tu, born in Ha Noi and living here for 22 years.
Nice to read your journal,
Tu
