I recently authored a book that uses pictures to serve as a universal translator for travelers--good for use in any country. All proceeds go to paying off college loans, so please help me share the word! (Reviews also appreciated!) Check out "Traveler's Lodestone: Gets You Where You Want To Be" on Amazon today!
The Wonderful Me:
In my heart, I'm a art/history lover, voracious reader, published writer, professional photographer, and eternal traveler. In the real world, I just obtained my J.D. (Law Degree) from the University of Iowa, focusing on International Comparative Law (comparing the laws of different countries) and Cultural Resource Law (The law of museums, art, and artifacts). I spend most of my traveling time in museums and scavenging around historical sites taking photos and reading plaques. When not buried neck deep in history, I devote myself to finding the beauties in our world--natural and man-made. While I have visited many countries, most of my time is devoted to going back and forth between the United States and Asia; I intend to relocate to my beloved South Korea over the summer. Now that I've officially finished law school, I hope to spend much more time abroad in the next while.
I'm kind of an eclectic person myself, and my travel writings will reflect this--I cover everything from fascinating foods to cultural diversities to towering temples. I am also interested in working with travelers and international students to build my Student Ramblings blog, dedicated to helping students study abroad easily and with great fun! I'll share experiences of my own intermixed with recommendations for readers.
