Sounds like your adventure is starting off well. Good info on those phone apps, I was wondering what you are using to post locations on Spotwalla, now I know...interesting. I'm curious to hear how well those phone gps apps work when the phone service gets very spotty further west. Enjoy the trip, keep smelling them roses...give my best to Chris too. Hey! Just thought of something, if you are going to some of the National Parks we went to where I forgot to get the stickers for my bike, maybe you could pick them up for me?

Ride thru the Keys
You described your ride thru the Keys exactly like our ride last Feb.! It's unbelievable, isn't it??? I wanted to scream by the time I got there (and I love to ride in the car) and once we arrived it was so hot we couldn't stand it! Thank goodness for air-conditioning!

Savannah and Charleston
Hi David... Ben and I enjoyed both those places on our trip a couple of years ago. So much history. If you have time, take the trolley ride around Savannah. The history of the homes, the iron work for the fences is wonderful Cheryl

Was really amazed when we traveled from Savannah to Charleston a few years ago at the shacks along the road and the poverty of the people living in them. Was a little afraid we would break down in that area - enjoy the scenery but be safe!!
