We started out today with no firm plans, just to make it to Iowa by the end of the day. Before we got on the road, we swung by Falls Park to see the waterfalls of the Big Sioux River. It was such a pretty place. I wish we had something like it near us in Ohio, definitely a great place to just go and sit. After snapping a few pictures, we were back on the road. We made the mistake of getting some iced coffees this morning, so we ended up needing to stop more than we would have liked in those first couple of hours of driving. Finally! We made it to game day. I have been waiting for this day for 3 months so you bet I was pumped! Since we didn't have anywhere to be until 3:00 we just checked out a little bit of Winnipeg and hung out at the hotel all day. Winnipeg didn't have much to offer but it was pretty interesting seeing the stores that were the same as the US as well as the ones that weren't. We also did a little people watching at the hotel while deciding if we wanted to take the shuttle or drive ourselves to the field. It was as if we were home being woken up early by Coby like every other Saturday morning. Why can't we sleep in on vacation? While eating breakfast David decided to come up with some Indian jokes.
