identifying the butterfly
I have been searching the interweb for hrs trying to identify this butterfly. is this the only pic you have of it? Did yyou get a chance to see it close up? What is the design near the center of the wings? (It looks like iot could be part of the swallowtail family.

Fantastic photos and perspective of a little-seen portion of the Great Wall. The climb up and down looks difficult and hazardous. Climbing skills and no fear of heights must be necessary - congratulations on making it!

You see, if the dryer was presented inside a love basket accompanied by several rounds of high grade puke(which I highly recommend to give it try), perhaps it meant to remind you in a rather courteous Confucius way that it’s time for BJ? …it could be complicated…OKE, was one hairdryer or two?

" that's right, a lots big cities have at least two train station, one for the regular train, one for high-speed train. the regular train and the high-speed train run different track, high-speed train run most on elavated bridge, some bridge can be as long as 100 miles.

aka receipt. if you are an employee of a company or government and you're out in other city to work. you can get reimbursed with submiting those receipts(fapiaos).

Dr. Sun(Nationalist Party aka KMT\'s leader) is dead in 1925 in Beijing, and the communists and Russia were his supporter at that time, even Mao was his follower. In 1927 KMT\'s next leader Chiang Kai-shek didn\'t like the communist and Russia, so the two party broke up. and Mao took mainland china in 1949, Chiang Kai-shek retreated to Taiwan.

you're too used to those american's regulation, all kinds of dressing code,safety check. remember american workers built that 102 stories Empire State Building in 13 monthes! and they did it without harnesses or helmets. google those pictures, those workers're the real heroes.

Yes and how many people were killed or injured in those days? I'll take slow and safe over dangerous and fast any day. Besides I'm confused by this connection between my comment that this guy is clearly a bad parent and the over-regulation in America. Leslie, there is no geisha in china, you better go to Kyoto ,Japan to find one. the costume in this picture belong to Qing dynasty( Manchus' clothes). manchus are an ethnic minority of China, but they ruled china for over 260 years (Qing Dynasty)

This blog was created in 2007 when I headed to Perth, Western Australia for a year-long study abroad program. There are still lots of great stories and pictures from that trip, though I got way behind on my blogging and the stories end abruptly in September, 2007 (I was in Aus until Christmas Eve!)
