Baby Watch 2006. Don't think I can "hold off" till mid-August. One week left! Take care of yourself, and enjoy the rest of your journey. Sean and I have enjoyed keeping up with you along the way. We'll miss the journals. Mia, will be here soon!
HAPPY B-DAY Happy b-day old man! Sorry its late but as you get older you start to forget more information. Did you say baby sitting?
We can (rub it in) celebrate in August or whenever you return. See you soon. Trey and tyler rode on the tube behind E's boat and caught their first fish. Wish you could have been hangin with us. Later, Bobby
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!! Dear Jeremy,
If and when you receive this birthday greeting (the BIG 30!) no telling where you will be. But somehow I truly believe you are in God's hands. I have been enriched by your journal and feel lucky to travel along with you vicariously. Hope your 30th was extra nice and Grandmother sends her love and wishes for a happy birthday! Love, Linda
Nice pictures Those are some of the best pictures so far(of sights that is) , but I probably wouldn't like the weather. Oh, by the way I think you had those bacteria in your stomach back in high school. Take it easy Curl.
anticipation.... Jeremy, I came across your blogs just recently (by accident) and have since read from start to finish - in the 'wee small' hours! Have enjoyed travelling along with you - your adventures and reflections have been thrilling - so thank you! The only thing remaining to be said is 'PLEASE HURRY UP WITH THE NEXT INSTALMENT!!'
Wow I've been to San Salvador twice, the last time being in March of 2004, and I have never seen an area like the one in your picture! I didnt really spend much time downtown though.... just saw the National Cathedral area and spent most of my time in La Zona Rosa.
Brings a tear to my eye..... Hey Jeremy- this TravelBlog thingy is wicked! Your Cusco/ Salkantay entry is perfect and makes me wish I was back eating popcorn and cookies at tea time with the gang! I hope you belly feels better soon. I made it to Bolivia after one cancelled flight so if you are in the Cochabamba area, drop me a line.
Ciao and best of luck in the rest of your travels!
Glued to my seat! Jeremy,
I think I must have held my breath throughout the entire reading of your journal entry on the Amazon b/c when I got to the end I was exhausted! What an incredible journey! Thank the Lord you are safe and sound! (Well, I don't know about "sound"!) Just kidding, It seems like you are not only on a different planet but that you are in a different "time". Take care. Love, Aunt Linda
Great Story Hi my friend, im form El Salvador, i live in San Salvador and i got to tell you that the picture you put dosn't represent all the city. The downtown area is horrible, you can see it in the picture, but when you reach other parts of the city, you see everything changes. Malls (biggest in the region) can be found in many places, shopps, restaurants, luxury hotels, fast food, you can ind everything. One part of the city of San Salvador is seen as a nn European city because it is so developed and rich it is very urban. You would like our city if you visit other areas. I recommend all not to go to downtown, it is not pleasent!
Have a nice day!
Your mom's friend Jeremy,
You ARE so lucky to have a mom like Genell. But from what I can tell she couldn't be happier with such a great son. (Both of her sons are wonderful from what I can tell.) What a wonderful adventure. I loved reading about it, but I have to admit the snake thing made me a bit nervous. So glad you out swam the snakes!
It's a Boy!! Curl,
Just wanted to let you know that we found out on Wednesday that Nicole and I are having a boy. His name is Jackson Fleming Yarbrough.
Adventurous people! Your Aunt Linda has been raving about your blog and all the great pictures you're posting, and now I see what she's so excited about. What a wonderful trip you're having!
Miss Ya Stacey and I were just laughing so hard in take 5 about you and it really made me miss you. Glad you are growing and seeing the world! Summertime here is not the same with out you went to the Yact Club on Friday and thought where is Renee and Jeremy. Kayin is sitting up by herself and loves to play she is huge now 16-17 pounds... you would get a kick out of her.
WOW Jeremy -- everything that you are seeing and doing in amazing. What a cool experience - I'm jealous. I have a friend of a friend who lives in Argentina if you happen to get there too! Travel safely. Jughead will keep you in his prayers!!!
Inspiring You don't kmnow me but I find your travel stories very inspiring. I begin a new journey in Belize on June 1st and then on to Guatemala. Thank you. Peace.
