Mooooooooeeeeeeeeee
Hi Moe, Good to hear from you too. veggies are indeed quite the commodity here. So much so that when a good batch arrive in town (like on monday some superb oranges came in) everyone went to the northern store within about 20 minutes. the bank closed and the post office was closed.. Everyone went to the Northern.. Except for me, so I didnt get any tasty, juicy, succulent, oranges..! mmmmm juicy oranges. mmmmm!

Dettifoss
Dettifoss road was closed off. It was still snowed in. Great to hear from you Jeannie, and your little Owls! Dave is doing more Churchill work, so there will be more bears posted later in the season. And yes, Iceland was very cool. All types of landscapes, except bush and forests! haha

Black Cougar Wicked
I have just moved to Smithers BC from London Ont. and i have been seeing the coolest Animals here! So far I have seen about 16 bald eagles, 3 moose very close up and this morning I was looking out my window and saw a Baby Moose and its Mom. They took off in a hurry, But then like 2 secs later we saw the BLACK COUGAR running down the mountain after a rabbit. We saw the cougar go back up the hill and then we saw the rabbit. No breaky for the cougar. Hope to see it again!!! Peace Tracy

The oldest polar bear in the world..
Beautiful pics Dave !! I'm sure you guys are aware that the oldest polar bear in the world is a little south of Dave at the Winnipeg Zoo. Debby is 41 years old, but apparently is in poor health. We were blessed to see her this last summer. My passionate animal lover aka Kallie was thrilled. Take care and keep those gorgeous pics coming!!

Simpson
Hi Guys, I spent 3 months in Fort Simpson in 2002 -- great place! Who flew you into Nahanni? The falls are amazing! FYI -- Kory and I split up. Sigh. He has left for Nova Scotia and I will be relocating to Ottawa for a while. Cheers, S.

hi!
Hi Sarah, Yes, this is mighty frustrating, indeed. There are more VW's parked up in the north that had misfortunes of time and money restraints. I'm sure someone will buy it in Whitehorse who can have the time to tinker with it, or use it for parts. Thanks for your moral support! See you in September, I'll be at Remedy's for one month then head to Churchill.

fight the power!
Do NOT let VW get away with it! I suggest lots of angry letters and pointing out the costs incurred as a result...I'm amazed they are so useless!
