I was horse crazy as a kid and still am now. I have always regretted not getting one of those cool bridles for my future horse. She would look great in one.
pictures and posts Loved looking at all the great pictures. Loved the blue walls on the street and all the beautiful tile work. The picture of the high surf made me think, do they surf over there? I love reading about your daily life and adventures. Hope learning arabic gets easier with each day. I know it must be alot to learn in such a short time, but I know if anybody can do it, you two can!!! I am rooting for you. I cannot wait to hear about their customs and food. I am looking forward to recipes with lamb and what spices they use. Take care over there and stay healthy. Love you guys and miss you!
giddy My heart was racing as I read this post. So excited to hear what you both are experiencing!!! Oooh it is going to be amazing for you both. Envy envy.
missing you!! I will surely miss you both!! <3 I hope I can travel to the places you've been someday :) If you happen to visit the Philippines, let me know, I would be very happy to be your tour guide.
Jacob & Steve Hi! Steve is a friend of mine! I've known him for years. In fact, the tie dye shirts you saw were made by me! It is so fascinating to see total strangers talking about my friends and the shirts I made. Steve sent me pictures of the people who bought the first ones and that was weird for me. Complete strangers, whom I will never meet, wearing shirts I made!
I plan to go to Caye Caulker with Steve this summer. My first trip out of the USA!
Steve is a good guy... we enjoyed his company! We met both, Steve and Jacob, and loved them both! We would entertain a business with Steve, knowing both of them personally. We love Qkawshy!
Awesomeness! Clay and Ann,
I thoroughly enjoyed following your exploits to the south of us. I'm looking forward to following your efforts in North Africa!

Suchitoto Yes the coconut sorbet was great yesterday as were the llomos (filets) y camarones (prawns). Brenda and I visited with 4 Salvadorean friends from the beach who have property in Suchitoto as well as the city. The views from the private homes are panoramic and( as all water views ) are fantastic. I understand that the lake is polluted from the city as well as a number of small towns but I did not notice any odour. The only garbage was along the lake, none in the town. We will return for a short vacation from our paradise home at Playa San Diego in the future.
thx im haveing a stop over in the end of jan. looking for a place to stay and was wondering how much it cost for taxi from the airport into san salvador. am i right it take about 70 minutes?
Thank you for the post It sounds like you had a great time in Honduras and that you love to learn. Looking forward to welcoming you home after a little while from now!
