Wonderful and exciting adventures Claudio,
You are indeed a very special human. Donna and I recognized your RV yesterday in carlsbad. Sorry we missed you but we met your two dogs that were sleeping in the front seat. Maybe we will see you again. I put a short note in your RV yesterday (2/11/14). We enjoy reading your blog and seeing the beauty in nature which you capture in the photo images.
You probably knew our son Kier Lugo at Palomar when you were in the foundry classes. I retired from the Art dept almost 2 years ago

Sorry I missed to meet you... Hi Donna and Anthony,
Unfortunately I did not get the message.. I will be on 101 again and next time just Knock... If my dogs are there I might be too...
Off the beaten path... As usual I avoid as much as possible highways and big cities. I like to see the countryside's and find my way often without maps. This trip took me from Florida through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona to California.
Vicariously Living thru you two! I'm confused though, how come the title is "August 2007..."? Are you up there now, or is this a "Post" post??

Wow! Hey Claudio, Incredible! Though I'm in Las Vegas for the rest of the Month and actually in San Diego first of October...... If you're ever in Atlanta you need to let me know. My Mom is in Western NC in a place called Highlands..... There's some really pretty land up there once you get out of Highlands Proper and all the crazy development there. You should Check out that area around Bryson City.... Cashiers... Lake Glennville... Some beautiful elevations and hiking too. Yellow mountain. Wildcat cliffs.... Norton Community between Highlands and Cashiers is incredible. Cool mountain air at 4200 ft Elevations.
Peace to you and so nice to hear from you!

Just another speed bump Good to finally learn of your whereabouts and glad you're safe. Hope will all go according to plan and you'll be on the road again soon. In the meantime - now that you're stopped....smell the roses!
The Hurricane That Wasn't Sorry to see Isaac had you run out of town so quickly but sure enjoyed the chats while you were here. Good luck on your cross country trek to Cali ~ the next great adventure is now.
Welcome to Travelblog! I am one of the Moderators whose job it is to delete spammers. You definitely do not fit into this category. Your background sounds ver interesting, so we are fortunate that you have chosen TB to record your past, present, and future travels. Like you, I have traveled my whole life and spent 2011 writing about every trip I took since 1949. So I look forward to reading your retrospective. I also look forward to your sharing your life philosophy...we have a few of those bloggers too.

The travel blog is a nice Idea as those of us who know you enjoy keeping up with you on your travels.
I am a nomad that has been traveling in Europe Africa and the USA since I was a teenager. I have made traveling into my lifestyle rather than going for for periods of time to a certain destination, I travel and If I find a place that I especially like I will stay and explore it and live there for a while. I have build myself a little house on wheels and taken my little bus through 3 continents so far. I build my bus back in my home country Switzerland and drove first to Africa where I spent about a halve a year in the north west of the continent. Morocco, Algeria, Niger, Burkina Faso, Togo... full info
