wow! Just a quick note to say congratulations firstly to you Claire - you're def the best woman for the job - i knew you'd do it! And secondly on this fantastic blog - it's really made my lunch times at work more interesting!! It looks like you've had an amazing time - i'm so jealous - can't believe it's gone so quickly - can't wait to catch up when you get back!! xxx
Ahhhhhhh!! Welcome to San Fran - as you say, is it Thursday or Friday and exactly how many days and nights do we have here?? We are so pleased that it really has been 'the trip of a lifetime' - although it seems you may have another 'lifetime!!' Can't wait to hear all about it and see more of the amazing pictures although no doubt you will only manage work and sleep - hopefully on separate occasions - for quite a few days when you return! Love you both xxx
AMAZING Ahhh how fantastic it all sounds - Bells Beach and the 12 apostles look absolutely breathtaking and your escapades in NZ sound so much fun - love the caves experience - I would LOVE to do something like that - we did rubber rings down the rapids in Sri Lanka which was great... and sort of similar but not in the dark. Anyway... Em and Mark are still nearly parents - I'm badgering them daily for news but nothing as yet. Mum has turned 60 and we celebrated at Watergate Bay which was lovely and I am still ill, diagnosis has gone from flu - viral infection - bronchitis - whooping Cough - I kid you not! Can't wait to hear more about your trip - face-to-face in February and of course celebrate your success with your new job - marvellous work - well done you! LOTS OF LOVE XXXX
Congrats I MUST SAY CONGRATULIONS CLAIRE especially as I know you didn't expect to get it!! Well done. Ayres Rock looks absolutely wonderful. I am saving lots of the pics but shall look forward to seeing many more!! Glad you saw Kathie and Alan and got some tips for the rest of New Zealand visit. Lots of love to both. Grandma xx
hello there! Hello Kids! Hormones must be racing as your last two entries made me blub like a little baby! What a magical place Ulurulusuraru (rock place with dingos) sounds, and how damn romantic. I have added it to my top 3 places to visit before kicking bucket (Anatartica, Wall of China, Rock) and love the idea that there is champagne around every corner - how very decent of the aboriginals. So you must be off to NZ now? Can't wait to hear all about it, still daydream of emigrating to NZ or Canada everytime I see Brown/Blair on news (discussing anything at all - such a shame CIA assassinations are soooo out of vogue at the mo.), or listen to Terry in the morning (whom I love but he's got a point about the general crapness of this country). You both look so happy in the photos (banana and cheese freakouts aside) and I detect a tan progressing, good show!
BIG CONGRATULATIONS on the job as well gorgeous lady, well done you. We'll have to open some bubbles upon your return. No baby yet, like watching paint dry (now officially late, how rude!). Best go, can't wait to hear from you tomorrow. Big love to you both, Ems and Mark xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I want to cry! WOW! It all looks so amazing. I dont think the sun has come out once since you left :-(
I had to stop reading for a while becuase I was crying with jealousy rather a lot!
I'm setting you the challenge of having your picture taken with a local policeman. Make me proud!
Oh and Kelly had had her baby .... Tamsin was born 14th. Ahhh!
Well, continue to have an amazing time and we'll see you soon

Blogging You are SUPER bloggers!!!
I'm really enjoying it all - can almost hear you talking.
Looking forward to a picture show in February!!
Lots of love Grandma xx
Envious ... or what!!! Am thoroughly enjoying the blog - can't believe how wonderful it all sounds, despite the flies. Sounds to me as though it even beats 19 May 2007!!!!!! Love the writing style and the pictures although Claire will be expecting this next bit!!!! - Koala (no 'w', and disapointing (one 's'). Still no Kangas??? can't wait for the Uluru highlights in a few days time xxx
G'Day Hello my two little travellers. Just managed to get this thing working - not as technologicaly advanced as I thought. Well firstly all I can say is wow you're very diligent with the up to date reporting - it's great to be able to find out what adventures you've been up to and see the evidence that you are in fact in the land of the Koala. (Deb requests that you bring one back please rather than something tacky from Cairns!!). Had a relaxing Christmas and New Year - even got out of spending Christmas day with the family - and I didn't even have the "but it might be your Grandma's last one" out of my Mum so very impressed (she's learning). Spent New Year's Eve in with Deb - her flat has a great view over the City, Canary Wharf etc. and the Guerkin so we could see fireworks all over London - you couldn't pay for a better view. Anyway I digress, reading your blog is making me what to hop right on a plane and fly, fly away but alas I couldn't possibly dessert my job - what would happen if I wasn't there to erm, er......... do Government stuff and spend tax payers money and the like.... maybe next year :) I hope you both continue to have fun and excitement and I lok forward to the next installments. Lots of Love Jess xxx
Hello there! Am not understanding the comments part of this blog so am just fireing off things and hoping they get to you!
Firstly a telling off. This is the second morning I've sat down at the PC with my cup of tea expecting an update, and have been disappointed to find nothing. This is not acceptable and any honeymoon-type antics which you are probably enjoying need to take second place to updating us all with your tales - they make me simultaneously happy and jealous! So please hurry up and write some more!
Now baby yet - we'll deffo call as soon as anything happens!
Lots of love to you both,
Ems

Yo from the YUK Hi Guys thanks loads for keeping us up to date with your travels and amusing us every inch of the way! We are amazed by your escapades including those of the intestinal and dietary variety!
We are sat on Em's sofa catching up on your news waiting for our shepherds pie. I was constipated until this morning and Em has had one wee so far. (In fact Em says she too is suffering from constipation for obvious reasons, but fruit seems to be helping, we'll keep you u to date... with her toilet habits as well as whether her son arrives.)
Seriously though your trip gets ever more exciting and we are so jealous - so glad you did some snorkelling and saw some turtles - isn't it the best? Looks like you are having the same weather as us tho, just a bit warmer!
Em wants to know what the pork pie thing is all about I told her its because the aussies like pies - is that right? Please explain!?
Happily I have been signed off sick with a "viral infection" so will be a frequent responder /blogger for the next week - so will Em but that's cos she's at home being lazy! (and pregnant obviously).
The lady has another question - please asknowledge us!!! Are you there??!! CAn you read this??!! Something, anything? Just to know we are not alone.... LOVE YOU xxxx
Oh no - not rain!!???? What a fabulous blog you two are writing - we are living it all with you - the highs and the lows - or more correctly the sun and the showers!!!! You set out to have the experience of a lifetime and it certainly sounds like it. Couln't believe the pictures on our TV of your floods!!!! The end of a long drought they are telling us. Still, the rain forest is wet ALL the time. As you know, it's where I really where I want to visit so look forward to that blog entry. All is well here - back to work for some (who?) and 'rest' for the other!! Love xx PS hope the baby anouncement appears in 'comments' soon! Em, that's for you.
Has he come yet??!! Hello lovely!!!!! Hope all is well there in the Corden household and as I haven't heard any news yet I presume that he is still in your tummy??!! Hope you are ok - I know you must be eating, curry, drinking booze and doing that other thing that you said you should do... by now in order to get him out!!! Hope our blog is keeping you amused - although my darling husband say that mine are not funny and very factual... cheeky so and so!
Any way love to you and I am willing a smooth ride for labour and VERY excited!! We turn the phone on every day just in case!!
Love you and can't wait to see you soon xxx
Wow wweeeeee Hi chaps! So lovely to read your blog and see all the fantastic things you have been up to! Can't believe you're in Australia and what a marvellous time u are having! You've put such a lot of effort into your comments and pictures - it's brilliant! The zoo and beach trip sound great as does the hustle and bustle of the city. Can't wait to ready the next installment. Bit of a shame about the bl**** fireworks though - how annoying! I can't belieive it and feel so sorry you were diaspointed! We saw the new year in at the Castle pub in Lydford - listening to the church bells at midnight! Hope you had a brilliant Christmas. Ours was lovely, spoilt rotten as usual! Although I had a stinking cold/chest infection which lasted the whole festive period. Back at work now though and look forward to catching up on your blog to cheer me up through January. PS Saw Em - she is well but ready to pop - sends her love as soon as anything happens I'll let you know xxxxx
Happy New Year Travellers! Happy New Year Kids!
Sounds like you're having an amazing time - drink through the jet lag - works a treat!! Hope you had a fab new years evening, looking forward to reading all about it. This techonology stuff is cool! We had alcohol-free evening with brother-in-law and neighbours, first hangover free new years day in 15 years - bizarre, not sure what to do with ourselves as usual head-down-loo day is unrequired. Bring on next year! ;-)
Hope 2008 brings all you can dream of, you both deserve ev ery happiness. Stay away from the spiders, drink lots of lager, pet the kangaroos and savour every second. Much love to you both, Ems and Mark xxxxx
p.s. why were you taking a pork pie over to Oz?! Maybe I read it incorrectly, don't have my glasses on! Love E xxx
