FPP Yes, Canada does use FPP - although interestingly Canada has largely escaped Duverger's Law (that makes FPP create a two-party system) - although a number of provinces (including Ontario) are looking at changing to other systems. Sounds like you are having a good time.
What's the difference between a teabag and the All Blacks? The teabag stays in the cup longer!
What's the difference between Graham Henry and viagra? At least Viagra gives you a semi!
cute furry No 11 Ohh ... cute furry no 11 just gets my vote - is that raccoon? and the cheese and gravy with chips all piled up together? sounds ghastly. Just for your info you should know that you may not get many responses from any kiwi male for a wee while, most of them are in the depths of despair. For the next few days women have to carry the day here... the weather has also packed a sad along with the men - its not raining cats and dogs more like whales and elephants. Anyway on with your journeys East Canada sounds lovely. mum
Nisga'a Lands Love the Pics, Just for your info, Pic of Volcano is on Nisga'a Lands, and Lava flow is through the Nass Valley between the Communities of New Aiyansh and Canyon City. For further info on Moose and Grizzlies, Contact our Nisga'a Lisims Government - Nisga'a Fisheries and Wildlife Department.
Awsome What a fantastic place Alaska looks. Great way to spend your birthday (mine was spent in hospital with younger daughter suffering from concussion)! So now your going to get a job?
Hollering! Wow - the Calgary stampede certainly must have made an impression on you...never heard you say the word 'hollering' before. Must be all them cowboy folk eh??
Sounds great...another reason to visit Canada now!
Sorry to hear about Emily's pack getting stolen. If you can't trust a safe storage locker then what can you trust? Animals very cute. It sounds like you're having a great time!
Great sales job! I have to agree, I'm starting to look at The Rockies as a possible holiday destination in the near future - it sounds fantastic! Glad to hear you're having a fab time - enjoy it as much as poss before the call of paid employment becomes too strong to resist! Cheers Px
Wow! Wow, Cielle great pictures - especially Peyto Lake. I had never really thought too much about visiting Canada but you have definitely interested me with your great Blog....hmmm I think Cute furry 2 mightn't be so cute if you went up to him though!
luv Elly:-)
I'm very envious Get off your butt and get a job your having too much of a good time! Wow the scenery is spectacular Cielle and I love all the furry creatures that you've met on the way (however I noticed there was no mention yet of a Mountie on the horizon). Freezing, icy cold here, your missing nothing. Keep the updates coming when you can.
Fond wishes
Michelle
suppression bridge? suppression bridge? ha ha Don't you mean Suspension bridge? Though I am very interested in how a suppression bridge would work out! ;-)
Hi Ceille
Doesn't even sound like WORK is in your vocab anymore. It's -2 here this morning so I feel like I'm in Canada even though I'm not. Not much going on here, Dave left for Aussie on Sunday but failed to say goodbye before he left; rumour flying round here is that Scott Forbes has been managed out of his job and GW are currently looking at restructuring BioWorks. Wayne's been put in charge of it for the time being. Tim B finishes here this Friday and strangely enough Murray is involved in his leaving doo (must be capable of doing it for some but not others ah).
Anyway enough, sounds like your having an amazing time over there. Glad you've put the socks, and scarf to good use already. Please keep in touch.
Happy travels
Michelle
