Spans across America
a trip by Chris Lock
From: July 1st 2010
Until: September 5th 2010
I flew to San Francisco and stayed in Sacramento. We went to Yosemite the first week-end. We took the train from Sacramento to Chicago, two nights and two days. We passed through: Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois. From there, we took another overnight train to Washington DC, and passed through Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland. We arrived and immediately rented a car and drove through the state of Virginia. We returned to Washington DC, and I stayed on for a few days. From there I took North America's only high speed rail line to New York City. I stayed for two weeks. I returned to Sacramento by plane. We drove north to the Mendocino coast on my last week-end.
