Parking Fee for Jekyll Island I was glad to read your post, sounds like you had a nice time. I hope you found the $3 Parking Fee worth it, the money is used to take care of the public areas - beach crossovers, bike paths, etc. No other tax money is given to the Jekyll Island Authority for these things, so guests are charged. But we think $3 for uncrowded beach may be the best baragin around these days!
Wow I never knew that about Kiruna Hey Michelle,
I'm Rachel (I subscribe to your blog)... nice entry about Kiruna. Seeing as I usually read about Gothenburg, Lund and Stockholm only, this entry was pretty fascinating :-)

Hey From Korea Hey there girl, I hope all is well in Sweden. I have a few friends here who are Swedish and they are pretty awesome, so if they are cool as these kids then there is no way you are having a bad time! Blog looks good, got any pictures?

wrong impression I have lived in Lulea afor 9 months after a 10 month stint in Copenhagen. THERE's where you want to go to experience rude, cold distance between people. I have found every interaction here to be pleasant, friendly, talkative and interesting. Try saying hello in a sincere and confident manner, and you will find everyone very interested in making your acquaintance.
I am 30 years old and have traveled to some neat places. Still alot to discover. I am focusing more on places closer to home now but that doesn't mean that I am not looking forward to great adventures in the future. Need to find more brave souls like me to go with. So enjoy my travails!... full info
