wow what a fantastic race - totally crying as I got to the end of your journal. So proud of you. You're a tremendous athlete Andy, well done and well done to Catherine for such superb support.
You continue to amaze me! Great job, Andy! I'm so happy for you and so proud of you. And I raise my glass to Catherine for being such a supportive and wonderful partner..I know this task would not have been possible for you without her. Congrats to both of you!
Congratulations Congratulations Andy, what an inspirational and amazing accomplishment. Truly something to be very proud of. I read every word in amazement. Love to you both.
Wowsers Wowsers old mate, wowsers. You are crazy in the coconut! Congratulations again on a wonderful achievement. Can't wait to hear what your next Mission Impossible is.
well done Fantastic effort Andy, fantastic experience, I'm exhausted just following your fete, well done buddy. Its great to hear you and Catherine are having some great and lasting moments together.
Superb I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. I am so thrilled for you that you had such a wonderful experience and that Catherine and you could meet up along the way. Bravo
Inspirational! Another fantastic trip - although this is the first one that has made me truly, truly envious. I'd never even thought of such a trip before and now am inspired - mostly because of your wonderful writing, Catherine! I agree with your friends below that you should take up travel writing. I would even submit this piece for consideration to Outside! magazine - this is right up their alley. Anyway - sounds like a magical week - thank you, as always, for sharing!
WOW!! Catherine, if you don't come back and take up a career as a travel writer, it will be a truly wasted talent. You make your experiences come alive and they're just fantastic to read!! Hope that every day is spectacular and think of you both often. Will have another champagne for you both tonight. Look forward to catching up again some time.
Always! XX
Jealous! Happy 2007 - what a fantastic blog! Always enjoy your travels and this one was excellent - I'm settling into a 36C day, so the snow pictures were very welcome. Seems the Catherine magic with doggies is still there - no doubt the thought of a tummy rub was what was driving them on!!! Looking forward to seeing you in April. Love Lin
Laws about that! Another envious reader trying to think of a quick quip! I have just a couple of things to say...
There are laws about having a "long standing obsession with the moose" and if you paint some antler on Andrew the "polar explore" picture you may just well have your way with a moose!
Great to hear from you and have an excellent 2007.
how jealous Wow!! What an amazing Christmas. And the photos are SO gorgeous. I'm absolutely loving your writing too! Have gone backwards and read your journals so far... great stuff. Happy happy new year to you both. So happy to know such intrepid travellers. Big love x
La Dolce Vita Lovely - what a fabulous birthday. Quite reminded me why I like Rome so much as well. And the photos were great - you both look thoroughly saited. lin
Investing in life.... Hi there - Love to read the stories and travel news and I see you are still taking some great photos, except for that one with this old guy with the sun glasses next to the row of statues!
xxoxo
So stoked for you both. Great to hear from you both and as usual you are doing more than just surviving each day, you're living. Keep up the stories for us back here and take care of each other. Have a champers for Stephen and me! Love you both, Trace and Stephen.
Golden beaches Thanks for a wonderful blog - very much enjoyed it. I've always marvelled that for such a tiny country, its takes one forever to get anywhere !
We thought a six-month trip around the world in 2001 would cure our travel bug, but alas it only made it worse! So many more places to see and things to do. So we are leaving the sunny skies of Australia for a stint living and working in London. When the time comes we will make the journey home travelling overland from Casablanca to Kathmandu (visiting as many places as possible in between) and a few months volunteer work in Nepal.... full info
