Hi there, I enjoyed seeing the pics of your trip on the Wonderland Trail. What a fabulous summer you've had and I hope your adventure downunder is getting in to high gear :). Good news on your MRI, Laura! Isn't it nice to move on with life and get further away from that dreaded day? Life IS good...enjoy! Cheers! Jayne

Planning your next adventure?
Hi, Laura, I had been in differents occasions in Santiago (it is not a merit for an Spanish) and I had saw the botafumeiro swinging, and I have to subscrib it's definitelly very moving, however it's much more intense that feeling when a friend of mine is relating her spiritual experience in the Camino and she has come from US to Spain with that objectif. I've enjoyed a lot reading your comments about my country and, please, I hope be informed upon the next step in your travel around the world. Many many thanks and best regards.

Your Pictures are just great!
HI Laura, You may remember meeting my friend, Cecily and I on the camino--- we were the 2 Irish girls(?) who sang an Irish Blessing for you and made Andrew(another Irish pilgrim,) sad. WEll done on finishing the camino. I loved your pictures--- they brought alll the memories alive. Not back home yet-- spending a little time in the sun in the Canaries. Eileen

Thank You
Laura, seeing your blog made me smile with thoughts of my own camino experience last year. I was tickled when I saw so many familiar sites. I winced when I saw the pictures of your blister. It takes a lot of courage and perseverance to keep walking day after day with one of those! I hope you recover from your camino experience well - it took me some time before I could get over the blues of missing the camino experience. I also found it difficult to explain fully to friends and family just how deep the camino experience goes. Don't feel bad if you are short of words to explain it all. If you're curious about my experience both during and after, you can go to http://www.musingsonthecamino.com. Buen Camino!

Congratulations!
Hi, Laura. I know you arrived in Santiago last 5th. You had had out to walk along the Camino de Santiago, and you had done it! I was sure in Valdelavilla (when you told me your plan) that you can get in Santiago de Compostela after 800 kms walking along, and now, I supose you are the most happy woman in the world!. That is said by an Spanish who live 80 kms. from the shortest point in the Camino, and never had been walking along it. Well done!! Congratulations!!

Great pictures!
It's so dry in Sun Valley right now, that just the concept of mist or rain seems hard to grasp. Sounds like you've seen a lot of it though!

Hello Lara
LDub, Thanks for your messages! I thought I´d be able to post to my blog every day, but it´s more like once per week. I´m halfway to Santiago on the Camino... less than 400 Km left to go! And it´s sunny today :-) Love from Spain, LP

You Go Girl!
Hi Laura, Sounds like you are enjoying your travels, tell us more about what it is that you're doing. Are you doing sketches or watercolors? Pen and ink, all you need. Also have some great books for you to read when you get back. Take care... Janis

Hi Laura, I'm so proud of you for doing this but please make sure you take care of your body. Your feet are soooo important so maybe it will take a couple days off. Miss you and I know that Joy does also. Ginny
