Mhm Well, I can say that I can vividly imagine that scene, and I laughed. Cody, you get into the coolest situations. You will most definitely have many stories for your children.
drinking Sounds typical, although it's been a long time since I saw similar scenes in public transport. Russians really don't have a drinking age - that's true, people would think that sales assistant is joking if they ask for their passport.
I'm Russian (from Perm) and so far I have enjoyed reading your blog, it is fun. So, how did you get home finally?
Not bad Now you have me wanting to import Russian donuts, great. When you go to Moscow, you better go to St. Basil’s Cathedral. It is one of the top Ten most beautiful churches in the world! I am so envious of you going anywhere near there. So overall, the orthodox experience sounded pretty cool. I still want to check it out. It seems that most contemporary christians can seriously take some things away from it. As for the ballet, I am sorry you had to be exposed to the Bulge Brigade. That is quite a story to have under you belt though, Russian Ballet...yeah thats pretty sweet. St. Basil’s Cathedral would be a very sweet one as well though since you'll be in Moscow--you'll probably be going anyway.
Eureka I totally discovered your blog address because i'm awesome. that or lucky. Looks beautiful...and you are going to see a ballet...a real ballet...a russian ballet. Trust me it will be good as far as ballet goes, but who knows if you will like it. I thought the hermitage was a winter palace...i was wrong. ok bye now.
All is well. I am glad that you are doing well in the Motherland. To be perfectly honest, I probably would have starred at you in the urinal as well. As for that girl...I hope you didn't corrupt her mind with the philosophy that corrupted me. You know how powerful that junk is. What is the average temperature for that time of the year? The seasons are not going to be switched so....you're in store for a Russian Winter! Holy cow, thats so badass. Remember what I said about pulling a Luke Skywalker from "The Empire Strikes Back", only--use a yack! AHH MOTHERLAND! Peace
Aww cody! I hope that you have an awesome time! Cailin and I won't be able to visit you because of Visa stuff with Russia, but we'll try to send you mail ;-)
