Greetings to all family and friends!!!

The girls and I want to share our "Summer of Love" journey with you as we venture from our home state-"The Land of Enchantment" onwards through "the Land of Eternal Spring", otherwise known as Guatemala!!!

Aubrey is a bit disappointed that we will miss the estimated 30,000 hippies planning to arrive for the rainbow gathering!

Although, the idea of saving baby turtles on the pacific coast, hiking active volcanoes, and watching monkeys and other wildlife play in the rainforest exceeds the amusement of watching the brightly colored hippie school busses pass through town.

These inhabited school buses are not quite as beautifully colored as the so called "chicken buses" in Guatemala, but eye catching nontheless.

Tanya just wants to get the heck out of Taos!!!

I am looking forward to visiting the Bay Islands and the Copan ruins in Honduras. Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to mention we will visit Honduras as well.

I hope that Aubrey and Tanya will find that life away from their daily fix of electronic stimulation is just as exciting when entering the unfamilair world of the Mayan!!!

I would suggest taking a look, when time permits, as the site would provide interesting information regarding the ancient Mayan culture and beautiful photos of the natural surroundings. ... read more
