Day 107 Sunday 28 June Meerbusch 21c fine After breakfast I wrote a letter to Europcar and sent it by email with the photos of the undamaged car on our new gmail address. Oliver and Gail and I then drove to Dusseldorf and parked underground in a very new building that had an interesting design with gardens built into the sides of the building. We walked through some old streets completely lined with restaurants, cafés and bars down to the Rhine. Again there were coffee shops, bars and restaurants all along the riverbank. On the river there was a constant flow of barges, some of them very big, going both ways with a variety of cargoes. We had a cup of coffee and watched the river traffic.
