Last week, one of the teachers, and my contact person, at Lycée du Parc Impérial invited me over to her house for dinner on Saturday. So Saturday afternoon I baked a batch of peanut butter cookies--I didn't want to show up empty handed, but I am still far too nervous about buying a bottle of wine for a French person, so the best alternative is to do something utterly American--and I headed over to Agnès' house around 7:30 for dinner. Dinner was absolutely amazing.
