Jungfrau Mountain Jungfrau mountain is the highest mountain in Europe sitting at about 4,158 metres. Even though it's nearly the end of summer, due to the altitude there's still snow on the mountain. It was 2.5 degrees when we were up there. We caught the train up to the mountain which is about a 2 hour ride. I've got a photo of me doing the matrix in the train which is made possible as the tracks are on a 25% gradient tilted. Sadly, people are lousy at taking photos so it didn't come out as well as I would've liked. Due to the altitude, the lid of my Pringle's container popped off which was pretty cool. Unfortunately I didn't get to see it as it was in my bag, but when we were going up on ... read more

Road to Switzerland Four days left of tour. We've got some long drives ahead of us starting with today which will be about 12 hours. The drive is from Florence to Lauterbrunnen. Switzerland is fucking beautiful. Lakes, rivers, old mountains, lots of green grass, trees and snow in some areas. I think it's actually more beautiful then Austria, which is hard to beat. To put it into perspective, think of being present at a badass castle. You've got a deck chair and beer in your hand. You're about to witness Pairs Hilton get be-headed. All you can do is sit there, sigh and think "Man, this rules." Lucerne On the way to Lauterbrunnen, we stopped off at Lucerne. The city, like the scenery in Switzerland is beautiful. Clean, wicked scenery, full of attractive people and some ... read more

Florence Started off the morning driving to Florence. It was about a 4 hour drive from Rome. Met up at Santa Croce Church for our group photo which I think is a bit of a rip off so i didn't order one. As soon as we finished, this fucking gypsy came up and asked us for money. Literally. Photo taken, then she walks up and asks for money. I felt like saying "Got curtousy bitch?" Grr. After that it was off to Leonardos leather works which was a waste of time and the smell of leather made me feel like vomiting. The guy who told us about leather kept on going on about Gypsy's and people who were selling counterfeit products. There's heaps of these "bastards" as he described them all through Florence. Every street you ... read more

Rome Started off by catching the train to Rome. I was quite surprised that there were signs and videos on the train warning you to be careful of pick pockets. One of the guys from tour fainted at the train station and had to go home. Stink buzz for him. I think it's probably from too much drinking, so I wasn't sympathetic at all. First up an Imperial Walking Tour including the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. The Roman Forum We started off at the forum which kicked ass. Our guide was an elderly lady who to be completely honest was fucking boring. She told us some really interesting information every no wand again, but to be honest the majority of it was just her repeating herself or going too in depth on things that were ... read more

Finally got to a computer Road to Rome There's not much to write in this entry as we spent the majority of the day driving. I really liked the scenery coming into Rome. Heaps of wineries and fields full of crops. I always imagined Italy in general to be really dry as that's all I ever saw in pictures, but this really changed my idea of it. Bus Crash When we were nearly in Rome, the bus crashed into a car. It nearly swerved into the center barrier. I was in the second row and saw it all happen. Basically we were driving behind a slow car Rocket was about to change lanes (he had been indicating for awhile) and a car in the other lane sped up blocking us and we went crashed into the ... read more

Venice We started off the day nice and early and caught the boat into Venice. I was already sweating like crazy by the time we arrived there. We went and saw a guy make a glass vase and a glass horse. It took him about 2 minutes to make both ofthem. Then off to a lace making place which was pretty fucking boring. We then had a free day to do whatever we wanted. I needed some sunglasses and Mecha knew of a place where you could get cheap branded ones. I thought id spoil myself and bought some for 85 Euro ($170 nz). This was the first thing ive bought for myself all tour. I look like a smooth pimp daddy wearing them and they dont give me headaches. After that, we pretty much just ... read more

Computer Im using sucks the bean bags and doesnt have a apostrophe. White Water Rafting On the way to Venice the coach stopped off before we left Austria and we went white water rafting. This was badass. We had a boat with 6 people (not inc the driver). 4 guys, 2 girls. Our driver was realy cool. He was real hungover from the night before. The rapids we went on were only grade 2, so it wasnt going to be that bad. This was my first time going white water rafting so I had not clue how the grades actually worked. I didnt fall out at all because Im the man. THe boat was real heavy at the front and we hit a set of rapids and it sent our driver (who was sitting at the ... read more

Computer Im using sucks the bean bags and doesnt have a apostrophe. Hopfgarten Left munich and headed into Hopfgarten, Austria. As you enter the country youre surrounded by the greenest grass, most beautiful hills and clearest rivers youve ever seen. I know it makes me sound like a batty pirate describing it like that, but it is truely a spectacular sight. We arrive ast our cabins in to see the reps waving. We all wave the entire time as soon as we see them. A rep gets on the bus to give us the run down. What she doesnt know is that while she is trying to do her speech, the whole bus is trying to put her off. The first four rows are all male except for one girl in the front row aisle seat. ... read more

Dachau Concentraion Camp We had really good traffic on the way to Munich so Mecha and Rocket let us go to the Dachau Concentration Camp. I felt really weird about coming here as I get really bad feelings about this sort of stuff. When we walked in the front gates I felt like vomiting. The continued with me for the hour that we had there. It was fucked up. Really fucked up. The Dachau Camp was the first Concentration Camp built in March 1933. It went under reconstruction in 1937-38 and more was added. The camp was meant to store 6,000 prisoners. When the camp was liberated April 29th 1945, the camp was completely overfilled with about 32,000 prisoners. It had a perimeter that comprised of 2 walls, a moat and a ditch. There was 7 ... read more

Prague Today was the first day on tour we actually got to sleep in. Our first activity wasn't until 11:45am, which was the River Cruise and lunch. The lunch was really good, first decent meal I've had on this tour. Lots of vegetarian options including deep fried Colliflower. It was alright but nothing to rave about. The cruise was really nice. You really start to appreciate how awesome Prague actually is. Lots of girls kept saying how in love with the City they were, so it must mean something good. There's not really much more to say about the cruise except that it was mean. Look at the photos (when I finally upload them). We then branched off into groups and went shopping. Prague's full of crystal shops. There was seriously crazy amounts. The first one ... read more
