Can't wait to mee you both! Hi. Scott has told me so much about you both and I can't wait for your return to the US. It seems as if you have had (are having) an amazing adventure! I am sure you will have many stories to tell. Again, I look forward to meeting you. Please send my best to Merry, Gerry, Sherm and Diane.
Best,
Barbara
Mexican food and 3rd world Big Easy Glad you guys are having fun! I think I made a comment a while back in an email abot the mexican food in Thailand not being as good as the Thai food in Thailand. Well, I was joking at the time, but I now stand corrected. Who would've guessed!!??!! As for comparing Haad Rin to New Orleans in the Third World, with the state of the Big Easy these days it isn't too hard to imagine!
Glad you guys are well...and do us all a favor...if you do things that in this country would be considered kinda dumb/dangerous (even if they are perfectly safe where you are), you know, like hitchhike...do us all a favor and don't tell us about it. We worry...
Love you both and can't wait to see you in Irvine when you get back (I'll be in LA that week looking for an apartment).

well, well, well hey married folk-
your return is the hot news on the streets these days - we're all so excited! but in the meantime, bow softly to the Buddhas over yonder in tie-land for me and, if you have time and a tie, dress up the Buddhas! you're always welcome at 556 guerrero street...
Loved Bangkok Try to vist the small green Buddha where trhey change clothes daily.
We also Boated on a clong,Great shopping along the sides. Don't spend too much money. Have fun.
Love Edie and Papa
Green is not my color.....but I'm green with envy at everything that you are seeing and doing. OK, ok, so I'm not a camping kind of gal, and I would be lost without my blow dryer, but still, it's a once in a lifetime thing to do. It sounds like you are having an unbelievable experience. Of course, all I was thinking about was that it looks like Lord of the Rings, so I guess I'll try to concentrate a little more on the "where to buy my fruit" portion of the program. But if you do see any Hobbits, please let me know.
If you find yourselves anywhere near my area upon your return, you are always welcome, and I would love to hear your stories and see photos!
Travel safe....
Love - Bin

Leaving big city life Glad you all are out and about again. Can't wait to see you both (and Foxy Roxy) in only a matter of days...We're super stoked as well!!
Nice to read your comments. I have stayed at Wilderland a number of times over the years, it is a place that is timeless and the dynamic of the place allows one to live very much in the present. Thomas, Dan, Edith and the kids are great. Bread making, cooking, the common meal on a Friday. New friends. Always sad to leave such a place.
Sounds amazing! Wish we could be there to share in your adventure! Happy b-day Benj. I can't wait to see pictures. We love and miss you. Noah says dadadad yayaya dadadada eeeeeeeee
That means miss you and can't wait to see you again.
Foxy Roxy Hey guys!! Glad to hear you're doing well, having a fun farm experience, and enjoying free camping along the Coromandel (Rocky/Roxy doing well? Sounds like she got a curtain makeover.) Jesse and I are living it up in the Marlborough wine counrty. Farming is great and we agree that after Auckland, it's great to be back in the counrty...and we got here on our bikes!! Have fun and check out Castle Rock on the 309 Road!
Amazing! You guys rock! Sounds like an amazing experience. What a great time in your lives. Enjoy! I look forward to the next installment and tales of the "adorable" children.....Noah and Matt say...actually Noah says ahhhhgoooo
