santiasco santiago really is a nice town. i don't quite know why so many in the backpacking crowd really dislike it. it's not flashy like buenos aires nor as hedonistic as rio, it has a very low-key character that reflects the low-key character of chileans in general. it's quirky and has a lot to offer the traveller once you get past the superficial impression that it's just a smoggy boring city. congrats on not listening to people who really don't know what they're talking about. just goes to show sometimes you have to find out for yourself. enjoy the rest of your travels, ¡cheers!
I´ll try it! Hola
I´ll try Ica next week and I´m very excited! Thank you for your post I have more clear plan now (in fact I decided to go there just a couple of nights ago).
Safe trip and thank you again

Bye Bye The Poitn sounds cool and the cocktails sound yummy.
*Richard avert eyes* Were the surfer boys cute?
That's really cool that you made friends. Maybe when you go to the other places you'll meet people and ye might all travel together for a bit. Who knows.
Can't wait for the next episode.

Pictures look amazing, I love broken down towns. Which is a good thing cos I think Claremorris is heading that way soon.
Can't believe you paid $50 for dinner, you're such tourists. Haha.
That's nice that they didn't want to rob you, you seem to do well living in dodgy areas - Ballymun, Clonlif Rd, Santry, Killester (super valu).

Beautiful That trek with horses sounds fun and dangerous, dangeroulsy fun if you will. And well worth it cos those waterfalls look amazing.
Also in the pictures Richard is wearing a blue top that appears to have become increasing popular with boys of the messy hair variety.
That is all.
