Welcome back It was great to follow your adventures in work and photos as you travelled through South East Asia. Welcome back to winter. The xc skiing has been great.
bats and snow two more fascinating park visitations. you two will soon have seen more national parks than any Canadians yet born! How come we can't have a cave in Mill Creek with an hour's worth of bats to eat all the mosquitos in Edmonton? Sharon's birthday was huge, but she would much rather have had you here to cook panang curry than having to cook herself for the twelve celebrants. More snow in the last 24 hrs. Blackfoot is now tracked! JT
mmm...coconut milk soup Enjoy the last few days of your travels!! I've enjoyed every bit of your blogs, especially picturing you guys driving around Thailand on a scooter in a Zach Braff kind of way ;)
Hope your last week is filled with great food, incredible sights and some of those simplest travelling moments that are so memorable...
armchair traveler Dear Patrick and Ashlee, thank you so much for you time and effort to blog your experiences. To someone like me they are opening up a whole new world, especially your detailed accounts of the lives and ways of the local people. It shows your caring and I hope someday you are able to contribute to their needs in some special way. Thank you. mtreige
breakfast pitfalls A red letter day to wake up to your latest entry. Much of the same but so much that is different. We loved the pictures of your cooking adventure and we are counting on you cooking a dinner for us with curry made from scratch.
Try not to get ambushed by any more poached eggs. Vita also had an upset stomach yesterday, in sympathy with you and perhaps also as a result of all her birthday parties. -22 this morning!
Hi Ashlee and Patrick! Thanks so much for your journey blog. I'm enjoying it, particularly since you write so well about these exotic and wild places. I love your photos of Ankor Wat and of the kids and Rethie, the tireless driver. Everyone seems to work all the time just to make a go of life.
Safe journey.
Tuk tuk!

looks ALMOST as good as sailing camp.. Your pictures are amazing! I am oh so jealous and hope to follow in your footsteps soon. Let this trip be a life-changing adventure and remember to visit the 'red light' district of thailand! Bring us back some great stuff. Miss you lots and cant wait to hear the stories in person.....
I'm just catching up on a lot of reading on your blog, but it all looks so lovely. The waterfall especially would have been a neat experience. I can't wait to one day travel to some of these same places, but for now, I am enjoying being jealous of and living vicariously through you two!
Wow Patrick you are a great scribe to your adventures. We want to go tree house visiting and site seeing also. I did a little tree top tight wire walking at Malibu camp four years ago which I found awesome but your adventure is amazing. I can see you Ashlee loving the petting zoo ? you found and being a pied piper to a piggy. Keep having fun. Darlene and Gerry

Keep sending pictures - we have to make sure the girls don't forget what you look like. I'm so envious - zip lines through tree tops would be my idea of paradise!
Love, N.
fantastic! I hope you are keeping good notes on your route, since I'm hoping you will take me on it in a few years! I must swing on a zip line above singing monkeys before I die... and pet piggies in the jungle...
