A great first log, Pete. And a pretty accurate assessment of how the chores got started later and later as the week went on. I also wonder about the quality of the labour-there's a nasty bit of 4200 around that chainplate, but it'll never leak! We're looking forward to following your adventures and hope to see you in the early spring.

An Envious Merry Christmas Carmen and I send our best wishes to you and the kids, and a happy New Year, soon to be with Dave and Marion it sounds. To make you even happier that you're there and not here, we've recently got 45 cm of snow, followed by a day of heavy rain, and now back to the cold stuff. Enjoy!

jealous You guys are making me jealous! Sounds like preparations are going well. Have a safe voyage and hope to see you somewhere in the Caribbean. Come visit me in the Cayman Islands
Hello Hope I'm the first to respond to your Blog. What a great way to keep us all updated. It was fun to read about the preparations...lots of work!! David and I enjoyed following you down to the Virgin Islands. Can't wait to join you down there. Hopefully around the 3rd week of Jan, if that works for you. Hope all is well. We are taking the kids to Mexico after Christmas for week so we will possibly have a bit of a tan when we visit you!!! Take care Marian (Mom)

As you said, the recipe says it all!! -- sounds like a bunch of the jump ups we had in Antigua. Cheers,
