The Journey Home Andrew,
I love your casual interjections of Samantha drifting into the main channel and running aground. I just had to smile. I didn't realize at all that this was the end of your sea voyage. It seems to have been wonderful, and now may the drive across country be a great adventure, too.
Safe Travels,
steph
Hope to go to Belize sometime too! Hey Andrew...I am amazed that you have only gotten sea sick once on the trip! Way to go buddy! Those roots finding the water is a great picture and I agree with you on the length of that Tic Tack Toe game...must have taken days! Love you...thanks for all the great updates on your journey.

Your Mexico Blog Hi Andrew!
I already sent you a message but all of a sudden it was gone before I (Grandma) signed off and it did not appear with the other comments, so here goes Grandpa's message again.
Grandma and I have been to Yumi Yogurt twice since you've been here, and each time, I thought--gee, I wish Andrew was here; but after reading your travel blog, I realized that you are having more fun right where you are! What an awesome adventure (except for the "throw-up") you're having. We have also been to Cancun, Isla Mujeies and Chitzen itza; so we know how HOT it gets. No problem for Andrew, because he is such a cool guy! We love you all.

What a wonderful trip!
Hi to all of you - Barbara, Mark and Andrew:
Andrew your descriptions are so interesting and your pictures are great. Every part of your trip sounds so exciting.
I had sent you an e-mail but found out today they weren't able to deliver it to you.
We were wondering where you were because we had heard of the many storms in the northern part of the Gulf. I am now going to look up on the atlas all the places you described.
P.S. Let us know your next destination and the route you are going to take. Love, Nana and Papa Carlisle
Your Grand Adventure I sit here in Tahoe reading about your grand adventures, Andrew. Snow outside here, and clear, beautiful water in your pics. I smile on the contrast, as well as on all that you are experiencing. Keep enjoying, and may you not feel the urge to throw up on the boat on the next leg of your journey. :-)
davistephanie@gmail.com Hi Andrew. Wow, reading about your latest travels is a lesson in history. I didn't know how much the Mayans knew before Galileo. Very interesting. And to think you're seeing so much first-hand. Thanks for sharing.
Safe and Fun Travels,
Stephanie

Wow! Hi Andrew: What a wonderful trip you are having. You are so descriptive we feel that we are with you as you describe your experiences.
I am sure your class enjoyed your talk on going through the Panama Canal. Every now and then we go back and read about all the places you have been. Keep it up as we look forward to your blogs.
Say hello to Mom and Dad and give them a big hug from us. Lots of love, Nana & Papa
What a great blog, Andrew!! Hi Andrew,
I'm a friend of your Mom's from college and just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your wonderful descriptions, great photos and I am fascinated by all the exciting places you have been and being able to have your perspective on it all. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Wishing you a continued safe journey and all the best, ~Ann
PS...say Hi! to your Mom for me! :-)
habla espanol? Hey Andrew,
How cool that you got to see all the ruins and imagine what times were like back then. I always think it's amazing what people could do when there was no running water, electricity and engines and things like that which made life easier. Spanish school sounds fun- cake and pinatas! I wish I could have been there! Aspen is going to read your blog when she gets home from school - it may be educational as she is going to the state geography bee April 1st in Las Vegas, and she has to practice some world facts. Your writing is really good these days - keep it up!
Your friend, Alice
Great Blog Andrew, You are doing a wonderful job writing your blog! Plus, you are having an amazing adventure and we enjoy reading about it. We are still in Panama and just returned from Bahia Pinas and the Perlas Islands. Great fishing at Pinas! We caught many dorado. We will be heading south to Ecuador in a week. We will be taking a cruise to the Galapagos in April.
Fondly, Renae & Dave (BELLA)
Fabulous Way to Spend the Holidays Hi Andrew,
I really enjoyed reading your blog and appreciate the uniqueness of how you spent your holidays. Seems a wonderful experience! I understand that you are back in the States for a few weeks. Enjoy your land excursions, and we look forward to reading more soon.
All the Best,
Stephanie
Andrew, it is soooo much fun to read your blog! How exciting to go through the locks. The pictures are great. It is good to see you and your family. What an experience Andrew. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great Picture Happy New Year Carlisle Family!!!
Looks like your on quite the adventure. So happy for you all. Wishing you steady warm winds. love from the Hardings, Steve, Roxanne, Grace, Katie and Kimberly.
hey andrew! Hi you, thanks for the great update! I always wanted to know what Christmas is like in a warm country-especially on a boat. Looks like fun! That fish sounds amazing - you are learning so much this year! We just had a humungous snow storm and the power was out for 2 days! Luckily we could cook on the fire and read by candlelight. We also had a huge tree leaning over our house with heavy snow on it so we had to sleep on one side of the house just in case it fell on us. Yikes! You look so cool scuba diving - how was it? Did you remember how to do it? Was it very different from diving at sand harbor? The iguanas sound interesting too. I think they're pretty scary-looking - you're brave! Anyway, have fun! Alice, Skye and Aspen
Great seeing you! Hi Andrew, it was great seeing you in Roatan! Have you had a chance to teach your dad cribbage yet? Can't wait to hear about more of your adventures!
Mike
San Blas and Bocas del toro Andrew, we now have read all and printed all of your delightful blogs. (we think). Sometimes the computer wouldn't let me print them, so we just read them. It said something about them being copy-righted and they wouldn't print. Anyway I think we got them all now from June to December 15. They are awesome!! You have had a wonderful adventure, and we are so happy for you. Please take care of your mommy and dad! We love you. Merry Christmas to you all. We have some presents waiting for you. Grandma and Grandpa
I am 10 years old. I am sailing down the coast of Mexico, Costa Rica and then through the Panama Canal and then back up to America. I am doing all of this with my parents and taking a year off school. ... full info
