Engaged?!
Hey Andrea, Your title was a bit misleading...thought you might have gotten engaged in Paris. Didn't know who was gonna be coming home with you. Paris sounds incredible (pronounce that with a french accent, it sounds much better). Can't wait to see you and all your pictures. Love ya, Mom

Bonjour Ma Belle. How's everything in the Belle Country? So, you're spending time talking to yourself in francais?? Wonder where you got that quirky habit from?? Have you decided how you are getting to London? Enjoy your last few days. We're anxiously awaiting your return to Canada. Love, Mom

bonjour amie! if you get the chance, take a bus trip to Versailles. Beautiful castle, one of my favourites. And be sure to try out a Croque Monsieur - like a grilled ham and cheese sandwhich. Try not to spend too many Euros on the Champs Elysees!! I know you're flying in on the 28th, but when are you back in London (Ontario....!) ?? Amusez-vous bien!!!

Paris is Great
Hey if you have time you should try to go on the boat cruise at night. It is really pretty to see everything lit up, and when I went there were dances and performers on the sides of water. Just a suggestion. I am sure you have lots that you want to see. I am glad you are having fun.

Watch out for crazy guys parachuting off the Eiffel Tower (some guy actually did this last week. it was on the news). Love ya lots, Mom

It's about time.
Seeing as how you are coming home very soon, I thought I should finally send you a comment. I have been reading your blogs and it all sounds incredible. And yes, I am very jealous of your tan (I am finding it difficult to get a good tan at the library.lol). Enjoy every minute you have left in your journey, because once your back in Canada, you will wish you were still there. Also, have you been doing much reading? You said there would be many books at the different hostels, any good ones? Anyway, take care I will see you very soon. Jayna

Cruizin'
Ahh Andrea, the best way to see the Greek islands is on a cruise ship/ er...ferry. It's the poor person's cruise. Just think about all those rich people paying mega bucks to cruise all the islands that you just went to! You certainly are getting lots accomplished. I've read that Greek men are very complimentary...remember the movie "Shirley Valentine"!Lots of love, Mom

Greek Souvenirs
Hey Andrea, How's the sunset in Santorini? Did you go to Ancient Thira? I read that if you're interested in jewelry, Athens is the best place to shop...maybe Les can help you with this one. The other things recommended are leather goods, copies of ancient and Byzantine Greek art. The other things are hard to carry, such as pottery and rugs from sheep or goat's wool. Just some info for you from my travel book. I'm following your adventures from my armchair/computer. Love ya, Mom
