Like all monotonous things, though, pain can soon become boring. The mind gets tired of pondering how far it is to the nearest doctor, what relatives and family members think if this is the end, why, exactly, did the tanks disappear from the toilets along with the seats. Why the hell didn't I say "sin hielo". The mind starts to find new obsessions, such as what could be done to improve the wretched taste of Bismutol to at least have the consistency of Pepto Bismol.
