just to let u know... I checked out your other blogs after reading your Malacca journal, and enjoyed them. Still a few more to read though. But I sure hope you don't stop writing. Surely, you have weekend trips from time to time and we would be happy to hear some good tips if and when we get to your side of the world. You write well, and i have always enjoyed journals about family travels.
a beautiful summary PAN thank you for sharing your feelings about a whole year of your lives. You each sound enriched by the places and especially the people you encountered. I am glad you went and acheived a dream and glad that you are back safely. Love G

congratulations! The end is never the end really it just another beginning. But you have ended this part of an exciting life together so well and much richer for the experience.
It was a delight for me to share a small part of that with you three.
what a good finish to an exciting period of life.the last couple of weeks are such a transient time, aren´t they?trying to finish all the blogs, suddenly beginning to worry about school and work again, feeling exhausted and excited, happy and sad at the same time.
loved the elephant photo-could almost feel their skin, see their gorgeous eyes, lukas and i loved the ride too.

a sad sight Despite the kindness friends in London showed you it was very sad to see you asleep on an airport floor Alex. The Transfere desk experience sounds very awful for all of you. I hope you are now lazing beside a pool or at a superb beach somewhere cheap and safe. Best wishes for a happy holiday in NZ, love to you all Grangi and G:Pa Tom
