Chain Bridge Hey guys, very nice pictures about my home town and country :) One comment: The Margaret bridge is connected with Margaret island. The bridge you captured is the famous Chain Bridge.
Witness Protection Needed Oh my goodness....I have made the blog....I am in fear of my life now....You know I love ya and can't wait to see you when you get back...regardless of what you have on! (Can't wait to see Grant and Oliver too!)
WOW Alison, Sounds like you had a nightmere experience with in Manchester. I'm glad you've started to settle in a bit. Also, I can sympathize with feeling like you don't fit in... Although I'm not sure how Korean I want to look- some the fashion choices over here are strange at best. They're really into rhinestones, crazy patterns, and killer heels. I enjoy reading the blog, keep it up!!!
I can't believe Grant went swimming as well! That water had to be FREEEEEZING!
The hot chocolate looks like it did the trick to warm y'all up, though!
Great photos!!
XX,
Em
hot chocolate Now, that's what I'm talkin about. I could go for that cocoa right now, it's chilly in Chi-town this morning. Grant is brave or crazy for jumping in that water. miss ya
Hello! These pictures are so pretty! It's so good to see how well you are doing and how you are making the most of your time there.
So just how cold was the water?....
Looks like a great trip! I love the Peter Gabriel reference: I bet you couldn't get that song out of your mind :-)
Have so much fun in Ireland--can't wait to read all about it.
MISS YOU!
Em
PS--Are those the gloves you bought with me in the 'tomb shot'?
Hoorrraaaayyy Great idea on the travel blog! Can't wait to read more! I so wish I had a clever German phrase to sign off on...oh well- eat some franks and drink some Jagermeister for me!
Love you!!
HA! Now you and I can commiserate over frantic airport stories! Sounds like the time I was trying to meet you and Linz in NYC and I was YO-YOing back and forth from terminal 4 and 2 while on the phone for 3 hrs with an airline representative who literally had to scream over the office party noise in the background. Don't all those stories end with a "oh, we're actually delayed"? Classic.
So glad you are getting settled and I am so excited to read about your new adventures! MISS YOU ALREADY! XO!!
Love,
Emmy
So good to hear from you!! Hi Al: Thanks to Patrick's computer being up and running, I was able to rread your letter and now he is letting me answer it on his computer. Everything here is very good and we actually started to do a little cleaning in the garage.....fun!! It need s to be d one though. This email will be a little sloppy b/c I don't know exactly how to correct things on Patrick's computer not to menton that I can't see that well with the glasses I have on right now. Can't believe you're actually wearing flannel......its cooler here, but not flannel weather yet. Actually, its been beautiful yesterday and today. yp' 70's during the day....cooler at night. You can tell Fall is here. Its Gram Hazel's bd today!! Well, will sign off, but so glad to see you're "up and running" and couldn't be happier. Will check to see if you write every day. Not sure about my computer but can check this one when Patrick does.....how convenient. No news right now....just the same. All is well. Miss you and love you!! MOM
Yep, sounds like European travel It's good to know you made it after that ordeal. It's always more fun when you are about to miss your flight, right? If it makes you feel any better, I dropped my carry on that may have weighed 30 lbs. on an Asian man's head on the way back from New Orleans while the entire plane gasped and stared, so... Well, I hope you and Grant are having a great time and keep us updated!
with love,
Patrick
