Golf I have really enjoyed your trip. You have explained everything in great detail. Have been in school with Mr Babb I know this is not his writing. However he looks right at home in the rough of any golf course. Looking forward to hearing more about your trip. I should be all healthy and ready to golf when you get home.
Loved the dinner at Capt Patties. the dinner plate looked real full and the view was spectacular. You all look great....No bad hair day for Sally or no pony tail for TOM. sounds like you have not encountered any thing you could t handle. 17 days already, how many more?? take care and know we are thinking about you through this whole trip. Love you both Toni & Paul too
when they say "party time, do they mean "potty time?? sounded like a bumpy road to soup & ham sand. take of yourselves, you Re the only good friends we have in cedar H. In Alaska you will have a lot of good salmon, that is, if the Bears don't eat it first. We call you are adventurous friends. we thought the trip you took us in Florida......lunch with the aligators was different, but look at you. Love you both Toni.....and Paul tooxxoo
SO ENJOYING YOUR BLOGS I look forward to my morning coffee and your blogs daily!! Will hate to see it come to an end. Looks like you're all having fun on my dream vacation. haha
WELCOME TO ALASKA Hi Peg, Dave, Sally & Tom,
What a great adventure you 4 are having. It sure beats sitting in your warm balcony cabin of an ocean liner sipping cocktails while you think about dressing for dinner. You don't have to dress for dinner, just front up to the Cozy Corner Cafe, Buckshot Betty's or Fast Eddy's. ( I bet you miss "Sisters").
Look after those tires on those gravel roads, I'm not sure I'd like to change one if you get a flat. Do you go on to the Travelocity web site and give each one of your RV parks a rating?
It's been great to follow your journey, I'd sure like to join you on a trip sometime. In the meantime, Dorothy and will shadow you over some of the places you have been.
In July we start in Victoria and fly up to Whistler for 2 nights then on to Sun Peaks, Jasper, Lake Louise and then two nights at the Fairmont Hotel, Banff Springs. After we do the Rocky Mountaineer train trip down to Vancouver we then do the Inside Passage cruise to Alaska where we travel around for 7 days before flying home.
According to Google, you have about 565 kms to get to Anchorage. Are you going directly there? Do you then do some sightseeing around that area before heading home?
Keep having fun and sending me your great blogs
Dean
