Happy new year Hi Helen
I presume you had a super Christmas and a great New Year. Sydney is supposed to be one of the best places in the world to spend New years eve so I hope you made the most of it. We had a pleasant enough time but we are all suffering from the usual colds/coughs etc. It must be lovely to feel some sunshine on your body.
Let's have some more news . Take care and stay safe.
Love A Bren x
Glad to hear you took the local advice Helen and no more scary stories for us. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself Have fun stay safe and have a great Xmas . Love A Joyce
Port Douglas to Adelaide Buy yourself a compass girl!!! Or perhaps a homing device. Alternatively a long piece of string. Tie one end to your wrist and the other to the door of your hostel. Glad the job is cool, post a few pics if you can.
deary me.... 1. This is the sort of blog that will worry your Mum and my Mum to death. And me.......
2. I am confused. When Clive and I were in Sydney in August 2000 we discovered in a similar manner to you that the clocks had changed when we were on our way by train to watch a rugby league game at the Olympic stadium. How can they change in Aug and Oct?! The clocks change at different dates in NZ - it happened to us there as well - so watch out for that!!
Yum yum banana gunk I actually laughed so hard tht I Almost weed! Austrialia sounds a right jolly place. I can't believe u questioned whether those men should be drinking while driving! Silly English girl! HA ha please bring me back some mushy banana! Miss u!
well i wasn't aware that it was a world famous waterfall until we got there and the tour guide whipped out the add! it was beautiful though! well some guy said i sounded ozzy the other day coz i called someone mate- but i did that anyway! don't think i'll be coming home spouting about sheilas and barbies so were ok!
Sounds like you are having fun. Glad you are back in Cairns you scared us a bit saying you were going off with a strange man in his van and he had no shoes - sounded like a hillbilly! Even worse we thought when you said you were going to buy him some new shoes you were paying for them! Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday. Lots of love aunty J and Uncle Mxx
Milla Milla So that's what the photos were about! I wish I'd known it was the location for the Timolei advert when I went there. I could have closed that whole chapter on my fascination with waterfalls (ask Sarah how we spent most of our 2 months in Thailand!).
Are you going to come back talking Aussie? (wind-shield???)
Have you really only been there 10 days You seem to have packed in a hell of a lot already!!! Glad you've met up with some other girls/lads. I'm sure it must be more fun when there are a few of you.I didn't know you were going to Cairns. I thought you were heading for Perth. I know a couple who lived in Widnes and moved to Cairns 20 years ago. They are in England at the moment. They live in Woodward St. Edge Hill Cairns. I know this isn't much use to you especially if you are moving on.
I'm glad you left the shanty town. Didn't sound good!
Had the 2 photos you took put into nice frames to hang on the wall. Plenty of comments about how good they are. Must go . I'm off to do a spot of "belly dancing " with a lot of people much older than myself which makes me feel good. At least I don't need to buy any equipment !!
Take care .We're thinking of you
Love x
