So there is a place on the way to Bikaneer in Rajasthan boasting the "world famous" Rat Temple. Here is a temple where rats run free and are fed and nourished by pilgrims from afar - but certainly by the locals as the rats are all re-incarnated ancestors and other loved ones deceased.

The deal then is that the rats in turn (when deceased) reincarnate into new towns folk.

Careful not to step on someones grandma - of course no problem really (other than the 'fine' of having to then purchase a silver rat for the temple) because that rat will simply reincarnate itself.

There is an albino rat there - and if you manage to 'spy' it you are bound to be lucky in life.
