Don't mind the second name. That's the literal translation of her chinese name in English and she doesn't like to change it. This was the first company outing I had here in China. The destination was Taihu Lake in Wuxi, China. At first, I was so excited to go to this place. I wanted to know what’s in there. But unlike other company outings this time I didn’t have problem sleeping at night before the outing. It was not exciting as I expected. The weather was bad, it was raining and you can’t see the scenery because of the fog. But despite the weather tourist keeps on coming. Jiangsu province is famous for its lakes. In this island you will see the natural landscape augmented by man-made additions. Various kinds of architecture are place among the trees and shrubs. The lake is an abundant source
Lunch time!
Different dish but the ingredient is the same "fish" of fish. You can taste the famous food known as “Taihu Lake Three Whites”, including white shrimp, whitebait, and whitefish. You can actually eat this in the boat. It is not possible to tour the lake for one day if you wanted to see everything. We spent one day there but we’ve only visited one part of the lake (turtle head islet). The photos are not great and it would have been better if it’s sunny.
