Last few days

We have been unable to get wifi anywhere on the island we are currently on so that's why we havn't blogged fopr a while.

Basically it is now 20 July Siobhans birthday!
Since we last blogged we spent a couple more days in Bangkok and saw some amazing temples including wat pho which houses the recining buddha 46 metres long and 15 metres high.
We then travelled overnight from bangkok to chumphon on the most air conditioned coach ever, and got a ferry from there in the morning to Koh Tao which is quite a small island where everyone dives and swims all day.
We have got a beach side bungalow/hut for about 7 pounds a night. Cold shower and a fan and a resident gecko that scares the hell out of us by screaming at us and threatening to eat us every time we go into the bathroom
The island has a really chilled out vibe and there are little cafe/bars all up the beach with bean bags and tables on the sand where you can chill out at night and listen to some music and have a beer or 2.

Today is our last night here we think so we are now planning where to go and see next. Diving we decided to postpone untill we get to australia and the great barrier reef, it takes nearly a week to do the course and we would rather explore Thailand a bit more.

Jealous, very very jealous!!!!
Not sure whether I'd be more scared of the gecko or the cold water!!! Glad you're having a great time and are going to see more of Thailand but what happened to the full moon party? I'm sure that the diving in Oz will be fantastic. The updates are great to read so keep them coming when you can. Hope you had a great birthday Siobhan x
