Cannot believe it is the 1st of October and I have been away for one month!

After the early arrival I dumped my bags and went for a walk around Hoi An with Tony so he could show me where things were. I then visited the Japanese covered bridge followed by some shopping.

I next went to the tailors and looked through the catalogue at many dresses and coats, eventually I decided on some and was measured to have them made ready for tomorrow! I then went to the shoe making shop and ordered some custom boots.

After this it was raining heavily but I found my way to the Museum of Hoi An History and Culture, this was short but sweet. It was still raining and most of the sights were outside so I went back to the hotel and spoke to Tony about booking a cookery class for the following day.

Once the rain had subsided I went out to arrange the cookery class and along the way found the Asian spoons that I had been looking to buy and visited a traditional communal house. After this I came back to the hotel and chilled.

That evening we went to some food stalls and tried some local foods: Fried Wonton which was really nice and pork Cau Lau which is a different kind of noodle - I didn't like this one so much.

After this we met up with another tour group as Tony is friends with the tour leader. We tried 9 snakes and a bird wine (wine that has 9 snakes and a bird fermenting in it - it was horrible) and played some pool.
