I'm going to medical school in just a few months. How lucky am I.... I am grateful for the opportunities that are ahead of me. However, for now I plan to travel the world, see as much as I can, and allow the experiences I have to penetrate my being and leave me in a new state. I look forward to today, to right now.... I AM discovering patience, love, and compassion within me that I did not see before. Love.

Hotel de VilleEnjoy this sight from the outside becaue there was no getting in. We were really in the heart of Saigon for this picture. So much happening around us, there was great energy in this part of town.
Tran Nguyen HaiOur first stop on our walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City. It was stressful just getting out to the middle of this intersection as there are no traffic signals and no consideration for pedetrians.
Ben Thanh MarketHere is a shot of the market from the outside. Another stop on the walking tour. We all managed to get suckered in to buying something in this place. If you don't then you have really failed to experience Saigon properly.
Fine Arts MuseaumStop 3. Nice but did not deserve all the time we spent here. Dai and Kiwi at the entrance. Hopefully i'll make it into some photos soon.
Ho Chi Minh City MuseumAnother stop, and another sight which we spent too long at. It was nice and all but there was more to see further along in the tour which was better.
Rain DelayRain just comes out of no where in this country. Sunshine one second and hard rain the next. You just hope you are close to a nice cafe so you can wait out the storm in comfort. In this case we were stuck at the Ho Chi Minh City museum. Damn
War Remnants MuseumThis one was an emotional stop for me. A vietnamese perspective on the war. Some very graphic photographs and sad stories. Most highly recommended stop along the walking tour.
Notre Dame Cathedral Built in the late 19th century this impressive cathedral was holding mass when we arrived. So we didn't get inside but it looked spectacular from the outside.
NightmarketThe begining and the end of the walking tour. It is never too late to try and sell stuff in this country. The markets are buzzing late into the night.
