This was a half day trip out from Hoi An to see the ancient ruins at My Son.

Basically we spent the day on a bus to the ruins where we had a terrible guide but luckily our lonely planet which told us all about them. Their isn't anything else at My Son apart from the ancient Cham ruins which were supposed to be preserved during the War from american bombing as they are important links to the past etc. However some of them were bombed, "accidentally" according to the Americans (who believed the Viet Cong were using them as sniper posts and mini-defense bases).
Either way, the ruins were very cool and well worth a visit, and the strangely out of place floor show wasn't bad either.
