Hoi An - it's unique ambience!

So yesterday we flew from Phu Quoc, via HCM and onto Da Nang. Took a taxi from Da Nang to our hotel in Hoi An (some 30 mins taxi ride). First thing we have noticed is the significant change in weather! So much cooler! We had dinner locally last night, £5.30 each, for starters, main & drinks! We then took a taxi into Ancient Hoi An for the evening, lots of life, entertainment and activity by the river. We sat for a while, sipping a cool Tiger beer and proceeded to a small gallery where Michael took a liking to a piece of art for home - have to say pleasantly surprised at his taste (maybe his taste in style has matured since his 54th birthday)!?!?! ?

Today, we have dropped off some laundry, chilled by our pool, walked down to local beach and plan to explore some material shops near Ancient Hoi An this evening.

We have booked our next lot of flights today for Hanoi/Ha long Bay, leave Hoi An on Tuesday. Pleased with our trip and pace so far, it's been perfeck, as Dad would say!!! Till our next blog dear followers we'll leave you with some photos so far, more photos of Hoi An to follow xx
