Ho Chi Min Mausoleum A two and a half hour flight took us from Saigon to Hanoi. The Hotel we were was beautiful on the outside but a bit old on the inside. We had to confirm our tour for tomorrow, that was 8 a.m. Internet in the Lobby only, not good. We noticed that things were more expensive here as in the South. We were picked up on time, it was very hot and humid. We had the company of a couple from Brisbane, very nice people. The travel went to the Mosoleum of Ho Chi Minh, who they call the Father. Our guide was absolutely communistish and said the North was the best. No camera aloud in the mosoleum or drinks or food or bags. We were a bit worried about our equipment so we walked around it. Visiting the Mausoleum one had beautlful bonzais. We ate at a local cafe, who had as airconditioning Fans only. If you wanted your beer cold, you get a glass filled with ice cubes and pour your beer in there. It was realy interesting. We had coffee next door, with behind it a collection of fighting cocks. I went out later to buy some beer in the local shop which was about the third of the price of the Hotel. Tomorrow we goto Haloon Bay. Bey for now till next time. Liz & Allan
