We followed a teacher teaching Vietnamese whom we met at the kindergarten to her house. On the way we passed by this house.

This shot was taken at 5:30am. The bus left at 6:30am and it took us 9 hours to travel 200km as the driver stopped many times on the way for picking guests (including lunch).

When we arrived at their house, we saw people from both families were having a meeting. It was the main ceremony. The bride and groom (left side) were listening to the adults.

So interesting!
Really enjoyed reading about your visit to the ethnic tribes. How lucky to be invited to the wedding! We visited some villages out of Sapa but those were the Hmong people.
