This is the first house we saw when we got to the top of Mẫu Sơn mountain. It was so misty and cold. The house is repaired to be a guest house and there is a swimming pool.

Two trucks were stuck in mud, as a result the whole route wasn't smooth. (Những chiếc xe tải này đã phải chờ đợi rất lâu để được đi tiếp. Hai xe tải bị sa lầy trong bùn gây nên ách tắc cả đoạn đường dài)

Lang Son
Great blog - what an experience! The roads remind me of a trip by road from Hanoi to Sapa in 2008. It is very interesting to read a blog like this from a native Vietnamese who can speak to the locals in remote places in their own language. I remember going to the huge market in Lang Son in 2006 and having an excellent lunch afterwards. Many thanks for bringing back these happy memories.
