One of the many natural wonders of Vietnam. Its believed to have been around for millions of years. It has just been introduced to the world in 2001. This was actually my first time exploring a cavern. It was pretty cool. I rented a Vespa like scooter and rode it from Dong Hoi to The Son river, rented a boat with some fellow travelers and off we went. The boat ride into the cavern was the best. I'd met some interesting people along the way. One dude in the group got hit by a car, while on his motorbike a week before. Oh, the interesting folks you meet...
"Who am I? Who is this person that I have become? This illusion forged by my insecurities...?I have become a monster in my chase for things that are not meant to be mine. A life that I desperately want. The irony of this realization is that it occurred, while I was watching Shark Tale. Most Disney movies has a life lesson and message. I'm too busy chasing the things that I want to realize and appreciate the good things and people that I have. I look for answers to my problems and peace of mind externally, while it has been within me all along. I have been too critical of others. This journey has been enlightening. More than I'd expected. I have learned a lot about myself. Still, I feel selfish for taking such a leisurely trip, while my family works their asses off. But I gotta do what I gotta do. I have to help myself before I can help anyone else."
